Hey crafty friends! Today I’m sharing a bright and playful superhero card featuring products from the new Creative Medley release by Brass & Bliss Craft Co. This release is filled with so many fun and creative products, and the Mighty Little Heroes Stamp Set was perfect for creating a friendship card with bold comic book vibes.
Card Details
To begin, I stamped the image from the 38028 Mighty Little Heroes Stamp set and colored it with my markers. Once the image was colored, I used the coordinating 38028D Mighty Little Heroes Dies to die-cut the superhero panda.
Next, I created the background using a teal cardstock panel. To add texture and movement, I placed the 4309 Small and Large Circles Stencil over the panel and inked through the stencil with white pigment ink. This gave the background a fun dotted pattern that worked perfectly with the comic book feel of the card.
Then, I die-cut the background panel and the white stitched frame using the 5923D Rectangle Combo #5 OPC Die. The frame helped give the card a clean finished edge while still keeping the design bright and playful.
After that, I used the 5926D Action Hero Saying Dies to die-cut the action words and comic-style elements. I cut the “POW!” and “BOOM!” words from yellow cardstock and layered them with a white shadow layer so they would really pop against the teal background. I also added the red and black comic burst element near the top of the card for even more superhero action. Finally, I adhered the colored superhero image, the action words, and the sentiment onto the stenciled background.
