Summer may be winding down, but I am not quite ready to leave the beach behind! This bright tropical card has me wishing I could activate vacation mode for just a little longer.
Today I am continuing our look back at past La-La Land Crafts kits with the May 2026 Kit of the Month. This one is a more recent favorite, and the stamps and dies from the kit were later released as part of the Summer Release. That means you can now find them individually in the La-La Land Crafts shop.

Card Details
I started this card with one of the tropical scenes from the Summer Vacation Paper Pack. The colorful background did most of the work and gave me the perfect setting for Marci. I stamped Sun Hat Marci and the adorable seagull from Shore Thing, then colored both images with Copic markers.
To build out the tropical scene, I added die-cut elements using the Anchor Die and Seashells Dies. I also layered greenery from the Two Branches Die with small flowers from the Spring Blossoms Small Die around the anchor.
I finished the card with the “vacation mode activated” sentiment and popped Marci and her little seagull friend into the foreground.
