Hey crafty friends! There is just something about a bright tropical card that puts me in vacation mode. Between the beachy scene, the salty breeze sentiment, and that funny little seagull, this card has all the cheerful summer vibes. Today I’m sharing a card I created using the May KOTM from La-La Land Crafts.

Card Details
For this card, I used the Summer Vacation Paper Pack to create the tropical beach background. I trimmed the background paper down to 4.25″ by 5.5″. To build up the layered beach scene, I used the Sunken Ship Die, Grass Patches Die, and Snapdragons Die to add extra dimension around the stamped images. I die-cut all of the elements from white cardstock, then colored everything in with my markers. Next, I stamped and colored the two focal-point images using the following marker combinations.
Copic Markers
Skin: E13, E11, E01, E00, E000, E0000, RV21, RV10, B04, B000, RV17

I really love how this beach scene came together. The patterned paper did so much of the work in setting the tropical background, and the layered die-cuts helped bring the whole card to life. There is still time to purchase this kit through a subscription or a one-time purchase. Visit the La-La Land Crafts website for details.
