Hey crafty friends! Today I’m sharing a bright and cheerful butterfly congratulations card with lots of layered die-cut details. I love how the soft peach background, sunny yellow butterflies, and teal accent butterfly all work together to create such a happy card.
To create this card, I die-cut the Magic Iris Butterfly Wreath Add-On and the largest Fancy Scalloped Circle Die from white cardstock. Using the Really Rainbow Paper Pack, I die-cut the base layer butterflies from yellow-patterned paper and the butterfly outlines from black cardstock. Once all the pieces were layered together, I adhered the butterfly wreath onto the fancy scalloped circle die-cut.
For the background, I die-cut a panel from peach cardstock using the Quilted Backdrop Die. I lightly inked the edges to add a little depth and dimension, then layered the butterfly wreath on top. Next, I die-cut the base of the Layered Butterflies Die from teal cardstock and the butterfly outline from black cardstock. To finish the card, I added the Congrats Scripty Die, also cut from black cardstock.
I love how this handmade congratulations card came together with just a few bold colors and lots of pretty die-cut layers. The butterflies make it feel happy and perfect for celebrating someone special.
