Christmas cardmaking always puts me in a cheerful mood, especially when I can use bright, unexpected colors. Pink and teal felt perfect for this playful holiday scene. Today’s card features products from the new Evergreen Wishes Release from Brass & Bliss Craft Co.
Card Details
To begin, I trimmed a panel of white cardstock, then ink-blended a bright pink background. I added white splatter to create a light, snowy texture.
Next, I die-cut the 5936-05D Winter Cart Die from two different shades of teal, brown, and black cardstock. I assembled the pieces before attaching the cart to the background.
I decorated the cart and the background with greenery and bright red berries using the 5936-06D Winter Trees and Greenery Die. Next, I used several shades of green cardstock to give the die-cut foliage more depth. I also added ink on the edges of some die-cuts for extra dimension.
After creating the background, I stamped and colored the images from the 36002 Christmas Cats Stamp Set. Once colored, I used the 36002D Christmas Cats Coordinating Die to cut the images out.
I framed the finished scene with a white scalloped frame using the 5924D Rectangle Combo #6 OPC Die and added the sentiment above the cart.
