Okay, I have to be honest! I am not a reptile person. Like at all. If I see one in real life, I’m probably running the other way. BUT… these little guys? Completely different story. They are way too cute to resist! There’s just something about these sweet reptiles that totally won me over. For today’s card, I am using the Geck Yeah Stamp set, part of the new La-La Land Crafts April 2026 KOTM.
Card Details
For the background of my card, I used the Woodlands Paper Pack to set the scene. Next, I die-cut several elements from Copic-friendly cardstock so I could easily color each piece with my markers. I used the Beach Sign Die for the sentiment, then I added layers of greenery using the Little Grasses Die and the Fern Leaf Die. These details really help bring the whole scene to life and create that lush, woodland feel.
Once everything was colored, I arranged the images and die-cuts on the background, then adhered the finished panel to a top-folding white card base.

This card was such a fun one to create! Who knew a not-so-reptile person like me would fall this hard for such a cute little guy? I loved building up the scene with all the greenery and warm tones to really let him shine.
