There’s something extra fun about pulling out an oldie-but-goodie stamp set, especially when it’s for a surprise-themed project. Today’s card is part of a special Instagram hop, where crafty friends come together to create themed cards and cheer each other on along the way. This month’s theme we are focusing on APPRECIATION!
My cards are very general, without a recipient in mind, just happy little cards ready to be sent whenever someone needs a bit of extra appreciation.

Between the two, this one is my favorite thanks to the cute little fox. Although the sheep is pretty cute too, especially set against the yellow, but, the teal with the fox has my heart.

Card Details
I started by stamping the images from the Sending Hugs Stamp Set and coloring them with Copic Markers listed below. Once the coloring was complete, I cut everything out using my ScanNCut and set the images aside to work on the background.

For the background, I die-cut a panel of yellow and a panel of teal cardstock using the Hatch Mat Die, also by Avery Elle. I added a little bit of ink-blending at the edges for some shading, then began arranging the element on the card front.
To finish things off, I added a sentiment that I white heat-embossed on pink cardstock and trimmed using a sentiment strip. Lastly, I added a few dew drop embellishments to complete my cards.
