Hey crafty friends,
Is it just me, or does this time of year make you crave all the bright, happy colors? Here in Florida, everything is already blooming, and I wanted to capture that fresh, vibrant feeling in today’s card!
This one came together with bold contrast, soft florals, and a clean layout that really lets each element shine.
I started by creating my base using the Victorian Label Nested Die, which gives that beautiful, elegant frame to anchor the entire design. I layered it over a bright teal background for a fun, eye-catching pop of color.
The star of the card is the gorgeous butterfly from the Sideview Monarch Butterfly Die. I used black cardstock for the base and added bright pink accents to the wings for a bold, high-contrast look that really stands out against the background.
To balance the design, I built a floral cluster using a mix of the Stackable Flowers/Leaves #3 Die and the Spring Flowers Die. I kept the flowers soft with light pink centers and deeper pink edges, then added bright green leaves to bring in that fresh spring feel.
For the sentiment, I used one from the Hellebore Floral Stamp and coordinating Hellebore Floral Die and heat-embossed it on a piece of pink cardstock.
I absolutely love how this color combo turned out. There’s just something about teal and pink that feels so cheerful and uplifting.
