Simon Says Stamp July 2018 Card Kit | 10 Card 1 Kit

Hello everyone,

Today I’m featuring the Simon Says Stamp July 2018 Card Kit called Cool Summer and the 10 cards I made using all of the goodies from this kit.

I combined the pink patterned paper with three pineapples to create this simple “You’re one cool Pineapple” card. Copic color combinations I used on the pineapples are YR27, Y28, G29, YG67, G24 and W9

For the second card I used a stencil to create the sun background and simply popped on the image and the sentiment to complete this card. Copic color combination I used on cactus is G02, G29, G19, and G16. The pot color combination is E29, E27, E19 and E15.

I wanted a beach scene for this little flamingo so I had to create a sand dune and an ocean background using texture paste, gold embossing powder and the wave patterned paper from the kit. I colored the flamingo using Copic markers RV13, RV11 and RV10.

This is my favorite card I made using the contents of this kit. After stamping the background of the sun, I colored each image using my Copic markers Y17 and Y15 and adhered the panel to the Island Blue cardstock from the kit.

For card five, I did a little mirror image stamping of the fish so that they are looking at each other. After coloring the fish with Harvest Moon Spectrum Noir Sparkle Pen, I added them to the waves pattern paper background on top of a white cardbase.

“Be a flamingo in a flock of pigeons” superbly highlights the pink glitter paper flamingo die cut with the less noticeable flamingos in the background.

Card 7 features the watermelons on a white panel die cut with 3 window cutouts on top of the green leaf cardstock from the kit. The watermelon Copic color combination is R35, R22, G19, G16, G14, YG11 and YG01 with a little glitter added on top of the center melon to complete this card.

I wanted a clean and simple design on this card and focus mainly on the two cacti in the heart. The color combination I used on these cacti is YG25, YG23 and YG21. The pots were colored same as before using E29, E27, E19, E15 and E13.

With the help of the stickers from the kit and the cloud stencil, I created this simple and adorable “Loved” card.

And for the last card I made using the kit, I focused on using one of the patterned papers as the focal image panel by popping it up on foam and adhering it to the Island Blue panel cut out with a scalloped stitched rectangle die.

So there are my ten cards in all, as well as the process video of each card I made!
