Good morning everyone, today I wanted to spread a little joy with this card, just in time for Mother’s Day. I created a fun and
Mom, I Lava You scene card featuring Lawn Fawn’s Rawrsome and a fantastic nighttime sky, inspired by the current
Lawn Fawnatics Challenge.
To begin, I stamped the images from the Rawrsome stamp set on a piece of Neenah Solar White 80lb. cardstock using
Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored them in with Copic Markers.

After I finished coloring, I used my ScanNCut to cut most of the images out and dies for a few of the elements.
For the background, I taped down a piece of Arches Coldpress Watercolor Paper to a wooden board and creating a nighttime
inspired sky using my Koi Watercolor Set. After the panel was dry, I added gold splatters to mimic the stars in the sky using a
shimmery gold watercolor paint.
For the ground, I ink blended a piece of Bristol smooth cardstock with Distress Inks in Vintage Photo and Ground Espresso
then added texture with a dark brown Copic marker and a white gel pen. I brought in one more die cut element from the Palm
Trees die set, which I colored with Copic Markers.
I have a video tutorial of this card where I share how I created this card and how I colored the images with Copic Markers. Watch the video below or follow the link to my YouTube Channel!
