If you’ve ever wished you could shrink down, open a tiny teal door, and step into a magical woodland world… this card might be as close as it gets. The new February release from La-La Land Crafts, and it is packed with whimsical, storybook-inspired goodness. Think charming forest critters, cozy cottages, playful mushrooms, and dies that help you build an entire tiny world right on your card base.
For today’s project, I wanted to create a scene that feels like it came straight out of a storybook, cozy, whimsical, and full of personality. To give this woodland moment the space it deserved, I went with a 6×6 square card. The larger size allowed me to layer details, build depth, and really let the magic unfold from corner to corner.
Card Details
I layered the House Base Die with the Cottage Add-On Die to create a charming little woodland home, then tucked in grasses and mushrooms to frame the scene. The patterned paper from the Woodlands Paper Pack adds texture and depth while keeping everything cohesive and storybook-soft.
Finishing touches, such as sparkle accents and a sweet sentiment, help tie everything together and give the card a whimsical feel.
