Fred She Said Tulip Bouquet | Lil Patch of Crafty Friends | Design Team Project

Fred She Said Tulip Bouquet

Good morning crafty friends! It’s the first Sunday of the month and that means a new challenge is starting on the Lil Patch of Crafty Friends blog. This month we are sponsored by Fred She Said, and I used Tulip Bouquet digital image for my card.

To begin my card, I printed the image onto a piece of Neenah Solar White 80lb. cardstock, colored the image with Copic Markers, then cut the image out with my ScanNCut.

Copic Color Combination

Pink: RV17, RV55, RV52, RV00, THEN RV19 for a few details
Leaves: YG00, YG03, YG17, YG67
Stems: YG67, G28, N5
Can: C5, C3, C1, C0

One of my favorite color combinations is pink and teal, especially for Valentine’s Day. I added a pink with hearts patterned paper then layered an ink blended panel for contrast. I used Peacock Feathers on the outer edges and Salvaged Patina Distress Oxide ink in the center.

Once the ink blended panel was die-cut, I splattered the panel with diluted white paint and teal ink for texture.

To finish my card, I added the sentiment and adhered the image with foam adhesive then placed the entire panel onto a white card base.
