The Paper Shelter Peaceful Easter | Lil Patch of Crafty Friends | Copic Coloring

The Paper Shelter Peaceful Easter

Happy Sunday, crafty friends! It’s hard to believe that it’s the beginning of April and time for a new challenge on the Lil Patch of Crafty Friends Challenge Blog. This month, team A is sponsored by The Paper Shelter. I am a huge fan of their gorgeous designs and for my project, I used The Peaceful Easter Digital Stamp.

I printed the image onto smooth white cardstock and created a mask by printing the image again onto a piece of copy paper. Once I had the mask in place, I ink blended the background using Squeezed Lemonade, Dried Marigold, and Picked Raspberry Distress Oxide Ink.

Copic Color Combinations

Skin: E000, E00, E21, E13, R20, R22
Hair: E18, E17, E15, E13, E11
Shirt: G24, G21, YG11
Pants: RV55, RV52, RV00
Bunny: C2, C1, C0, Blender
Tree: E47, E44, E43
Leaves/Vine: YG03, YG67
Pink: RV17, RV55, RV52, RV00
Teal: BG49, BG45, BG53, BG10
Grass: YG01, YG03, YG25, YG17

The Paper Shelter Peaceful Easter

Once the ink blending was complete, I removed the mask and colored the image with Copic Markers. I used a stitched rectangular die to trim the panel and added the sentiment by heat embossing with white embossing powder. Then, I added the panel with foam adhesive to an A2-sized white top folding card base.

I hope you will join us on the Lil Patch of Crafty Friends blog and enter our challenge for a chance to win a prize from our fabulous sponsor. Visit The Paper Shelter at the links below to see more of their gorgeous designs.

The Paper Shelter Enchanting Butterflies | Lil Patch of Crafty Friends | Design Team Project

Happy Sunday crafty friends! Welcome to the new challenge on the Lil Patch of Crafty Friends Challenge Blog. We have a fabulous sponsor this month, I am using Enchanting Butterflies by The Paper Shelter for my design team project.

I love to create one-layer cards and this image was perfect to set in the center for exactly that. I printed the image onto a piece of Neenah Solar White 80lb cardstock and colored the main image with Copic Markers.

Copic Color Combination

Skin: 04, E13, E21, E00, E000, E0000, R20
Hair: RV06, RV04, RV02
Lips: RV66
Butterflies: Pink RV04, RV02, RV000, Teal BG05, BG01, BG000 Purple B66, B63 Yellow Y18, Y02
Shirt: C3, C1, C0, RV66
Flower: RV66, RV04
Background: YG11, YG20, Y000

I created the background by stamping out a scripty-background stamp onto a piece of Neenah Solar White Cardstock, then ink blended the background using Distress Oxide Ink in Kitch Flamingo. I just love this color by the way!

To complete this card, I stamped out the sentiment and heat embossed it before adhering the card panel to the pink background.

After printing the digital images onto a piece of Neenah Solar White 80lb. cardstock, I used my Copic Markers to color in the images. I cut the images out with my Scan and Cut.

The Paper Shelter Too Cute to Spook

For the background, I ink blended Distress Oxide ink in Picked Raspberry around the moon, then Seedless Preserve and Blueprint Sketch onto a panel of smooth white cardstock. I die cut a panel with the grassy hillside die and ink blended Mowed Lawn then splattered both of the panels with diluted white acrylic paint.

To finish this card, I stamped the sentiment onto a piece of black cardstock and heat embossed with white embossing powder.  And finally, I popped up the images with foam adhesive onto the card front.

It took some time to finish coloring in this scene, but I am so happy with the outcome and it was definitely worth the time.

To finish this card, I stamped out a sentiment onto a piece of black cardstock, white heat embossed it and used a wavy banner die cut
before adhering it to my finish card.

Skin: W4, W3, W1, W0, W00
Ruffle Dress: W4, W3, W0

The Paper Shelter Regina

After the coloring was complete, I added the sentiment from a stamp set by Craftin Desert Diva and sparkle details to
mimic the background lights with a glitter pen.

To complete this card, I die cut the entire panel with a rectangle die and adhered it to an A2 sized card base.

I hope you will join us for the monthly challenge over on Lil Patch of Crafty Friends Challenge Blog and enter to win a prize.
