Lawn Fawn Fly High | Birthday handmade card

Hey crafty friends! I hope you are all having a wonderful week and found some time to enjoy fun family activities. I am savoring the last of my Christmas break and enjoying a little extra time in my craft room. It’s been a little minute since I played along with any challenges, and I’m changing that in the New Year. For this card, I am using stamps and dies from my stash that I’ve not used yet! (That’s always a bonus)

Lawn Fawn Fly High and Giant Happy Birthday to you.

The Focus for this challenge is celebrations, and I chose a very large celebratory sentiment that I die-cut out of yellow patterned paper from the Spring Fling paper pack. Next, I stamped the images from the Fly High stamp set and colored everything with my Copic Markers.

Copic Markers
Elephants: W7, W5, W3, W1
Mice: E27, E25, E23
Green: YG25, YG23, YG01
Pink: RV17, RV55, RV52

Olo Markers
Purple: V2.6, V2.4, V2.3

For the background, I die-cut a piece of teal cardstock using the Diagonal Simple Stripes rectangle die and ink-blended the edges of each strip with matching dye ink. Then I splattered the panel with diluted white paint.

Once the panel dried, I arranged the large sentiment and my images and adhered everything down using liquid adhesive or popped up for dimension.

Lastly, I finished by adding a few highlights with my gel pen. I love how this card came together. Have a wonderful rest of the week, and remember …… sprinkle a little creativity on your day!
