MFT Stamps Animal Farm | Copic Coloring

MFT Stamps Animal Farm

Hey crafty friends! All this month, I am teaching my preschoolers about Spring. Some of the simple concepts we discuss are weather changes, flowers, and of course all the baby animals. This card certainly makes me think of Spring with a bright and cheery background.

I stamped all of the images in the stamp set with Memento Tuxedo Black dye ink and colored them in with Copic Markers.

I love to integrate bright backgrounds and for this card, I created a sunny cloudy sky using Squeezed Lemonade Distress Oxide ink. For the grassy hill, I simply die-cut a piece of white cardstock and ink blended the bottom portion with Twisted Citron and Mowed Lawn at the top. I splattered both panels with white paint for texture.

Once the panels were dry, I used a stitched slimline rectangle die to die cut the entire panel. Then, I stamped the sentiment with VersaFine Black Onyx ink. To finish the card, I added all of the images using glue dots or liquid adhesive.
