Hi crafty friends, I hope you are enjoying your weekend, long weekend if you are in the U.S. and celebrating Labor Day. Today we begin the new challenge on the Lil Patch of Crafty Friends. This month’s sponsor is All Dressed Up Stamps, and I used a digi image called Time to Relax.

To start my card, I printed the image onto smooth cardstock and once more onto masking paper. I fussy cut the masking paper image, then ink blended the background with Salty Ocean and Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide inks.

Next, I die cut the panel with a stitched rectangle die, then added the panel to a brown cardstock matted onto orange patterned paper.

All Dressed Up Sight Seeing in Paris

Happy Sunday crafty friends! It’s the first Sunday of the month and that means a new challenge begins on the Lil Patch of Crafty Friends challenge blog.

Our sponsor for this challenge is All Dressed Up Stamps and my card features Sight Seeing in Paris digital image.

I am a huge fan of scene cards, and this image can be resized to fit an entire card front to create a one-layer card. To make my card, I resized the image to fit in a 4 x 5.25 panel and printed the image. Next, I colored the entire card with my Copic Markers.

Copic Color Combinations

When my card panel was complete, I used a stitched rectangle die to die cut the panel. For the sentiment, I used The Small Talk stickers by Jim Holtz idea-ology, and lastly, I finished by matting the card front over a piece of patterned paper.

All Dressed Up Sledging All the Way

Good morning crafty friends and Happy New Year! It’s the first Sunday of the new month and that means it’s time for the first challenge at Lil Patch of Crafty Friends blog.

We have our exclusive sponsor this month, All Dressed Up, and I used this adorable image called Sledging All the Way.

To begin my card, I printed the image onto a piece of Neenah Solar White 80lb. cardstock and colored the image with Copic Markers.

Copic Color Combination

Hair: E27, E25, E23, E21
Skin: E000, E00, E21, E11
Pink: RV17, RV55, RV52, RV00
Teal: BG57, BG45, BG53, BG10
Bird: R22, R24, R27
Tree: E29, E23, G28, YG67, YG63

After my coloring was complete, I used my ScanNCut to cut the image out. Then, I used a stitched rectangle die to cut a piece of smooth white cardstock to create the background.

I ink blended the panel with Spun Sugar, Worn Lipstick Distress Oxide ink, and Festive Berries Distress Oxide at the edges. Next, I added some snowbanks using a die from my stash and added all the elements to the background.

To finish my card, I added the sentiment and adhered the entire panel to a top folding white card base.

All Dressed Up Digital Images

Good morning crafty friends! It’s time for a new Lil Patch of Crafty Friends Challenge and this month we are sponsored by All Dressed Up. I have been a huge fan of Wendy’s hand-drawn work and love all of her digital images. This month, I opted to use this beautiful image called Sleepy Time. I thought it was a perfect time to create an Autumn-inspired card.

I printed my image onto Neenah Solar White 80lb. cardstock and colored my image with Copic Markers.

Copic Color Combination

Fox: E19, YR18, YR65, YR15
        E33, E31, E30, W7, W5, W3
Yellow: Y13, Y03
Pink: RV06, RV00
Burgundy: RV69, R43

After coloring the image, I used my ScanNCut to cut the image out then worked on creating the background.

I ink blended a panel of smooth cardstock using Broken China Distress Oxide ink at the outer edges, and Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide in the center. For a little interest, I added gold splatters by flicking gold spray with a paintbrush.

Next, I created the Fall Leaf Wreath by die-cutting a piece of watercolor cardstock and adding watercolor in several shades of yellows, oranges, greens, and reds.

Once both of the panels were dry, I began adhering the elements to an A2-sized card base. Lastly, I added a white heat embossed sentiment die cut with a wavy banner die.

I hope you’ll stop by the Lil Patch of Crafty Friends Challenge Blog and check out the other design team member projects and enter for your chance to win from our fabulous sponsor.

All Dressed Up Butterfly Bunny | Lil Patch of Crafty Friends | Design Team Project

Happy Sunday crafty friends! Welcome to the new challenge on the Lil Patch of Crafty Friends Challenge Blog. This month, we are sponsored by All Dressed Up Stamps. Please visit her Etsy shop and check out the most adorable images. I especially admire all of the animal images and chose to work with Butterfly Bunny.

I printed the image onto a piece of Neenah Solar White 80lb cardstock and colored the main image with Copic Markers. Once my main image was colored, I created a mask by printing the image again onto a piece of paper, fussy cutting, and adding repositionable adhesive to the back of the image.

Belly: E51, E50, Blender

I die-cut the panel using a large stitched rectangle die, then ink blended with Distress Oxide inks in Mustard Seed and Dried Marigold, leaving the bottom portion for grass.

While my mask was in place, I added a little interest to my card by adding white splatters. I immediately removed the masks and allowed the panel to dry.

To complete this card, I stamped out the sentiment and heat embossed it before adhering the card panel to a white card base.
