Hey crafty friends, has anyone else been noticing those little signs that the seasons are starting to shift? The days are getting a bit brighter, the air feels a little warmer, and you just know spring is right around the corner.
That feeling inspired today’s card, a cheerful little garden scene featuring these adorable moles from the February 2026 KOTM from La-La Land Crafts, and it’s such a fun kit for building whimsical storybook scenes like this one.
To create the scene, I started by trimming a panel from the Countryside Paper Pack and layering it onto my card base. I added the Wavy Border Die cut from kraft cardstock to create the gardening soil and give the little moles a place to stand.
Next, I colored the characters with Copic markers and cut them out before arranging them across the garden scene. I layered in bright pink flowers to create a fun little garden scene. Lastly, I added the sentiment that I die-cut using Scalloped Sentiment Labels Die.
