Collected Crafty Collabs September Hop | Pink and Main Season of Change

Hi crafty friends, I’m hopping along with my crafty friends in the Collected Crafty Collab for the month of September. This month the hop is inspired by my favorite season, Fall with the optional sequence.

Pink and Main Season of Change

For this month, I grabbed a never used stamp set from Pink and Main called Season of Change. As luck would have it, the stamp and die bundle is on sale at Pink and Main.

After stamping all of the images with Memento Tuxedo ink onto a piece of Neenah Solar White 80lb cardstock and I colored them in with Copic markers.

Pink and Main Season of Change
For the background, I ink blended a piece of Bristol smooth cardstock using Mustard Seed, Wild Honey, and Abandoned Coral Distress Oxide ink. I sprayed the panel with water to create texture then added white and black paint splatters.

While that panel was drying, I die cut several pieces of brown cardstock using Lawn Fawns’ Leafy Tree Backdrop. Then I used the Lawn Fawn Simple Grassy Hillsides to die cut the grass panel.

I stamped the sentiment onto the background panel and began arranging all of the images using foam adhesive, then added the entire panel to a side folding A2 sized card base.

? Next up on the Collected Crafty Collabs hop is the lovely Boryana Yankova!

Hop along and be inspired by all of the wonderful and talented participants in this hop.

  1. Oooo, Donna, this is so cute! I especially love the little bird, and that ink blended background is to die for! Thanks for hopping along with us again! ?

  2. I just posted my entry in Crafty Catz Challenge and am stopping by your blog to get a closer look at your card. Your coloring is excellent and I especially like that background! Great fall card. TFS. Kathy A at myasperations.blogspot.com

  3. Donna, your scene card is just beautiful, as is your coloring! I love the combination of critter images and scene building dies, and that ink blended background is just yummy! I have to admit that I wasn’t a big fan of fall until we moved out of Florida to north Georgia where the change of seasons are more noticable. Its still not a New England fall, but the leaves change colors and the air is brisk. Now I can appreciate hay mazes and pumpkin patches and get into the spirit of the season. Your card has me eager to go on a hay ride! You are very talented, my friend and I am so grateful you are part of my hop group! ?

  4. Oh I love these cute darling fun images. Your scene is awesome and background blending is stunning. (don’t you love bistol for blending? I love it too) I love this card and so glad you shared over at Colour Crazy challenge (and Crafty Catz, Crafty Gals Corner)
