Hi everyone, I have a quick card for St. Patrick’s Day featuring Newton’s Nook Designs Pot of Gold with a stenciled glitter paste.
First, I began working on the background by applying the Bo Bunny Wasabi Green Glitter Paste through the Cloudy Sky
Stencil onto a piece of 110lb. Neenah Solar White cardstock. I applied a thin and an even layer of glitter paste across the
stencil with a palette knife and then left the background to completely dry. While the background was drying, I stamped
the images of Newton with Memento Tuxedo ink onto a piece of Neenah Solar White 80lb cardstock and colored them
in with Copic markers.
Copic Markers Combination
Cat: YR24, YR14, YR21, Y32, Y21 E08, R22, R20
Hat: C9, C7, C5, C3
Pot: C9, C7, C5, C3, C1
Gold: Y38, Y13
Green clover: G28, YG09, G02
Once the background was dry, I added dots of black Ranger Enamel Accents across the entire panel. I had to patiently wait again for the black enamel dots to dry before die cutting the panel with the scalloped rectangle die from the Frames and Flags Die Set.
To finish off this card, I stamped the sentiment with embossing ink and heat set it with white embossing powder on a piece of black cardstock. I added the focal point image onto foam squares and added a piece of vellum behind him to help the image stand apart from the background.
That’s all for this card, thank you so much for stopping by, until next time….sprinkle a little creativity on your day!
