I’m so very Grateful | Lawn Fawn You Autumn Know | Copic Coloring

Lawn Fawn You Autumn Know

Hey crafty friends! As we celebrate Thanksgiving in the U.S. we reflect on what we are grateful for. Among many things I’m grateful for,  I’m very thankful for my family and friends that uplift me daily. I feel grateful for the most amazing group of teachers I work with that inspire me to be my best. And I’m thankful for all of you. I appreciate each and everyone one of you that stop by my little corner of the web, leave comments or connect with me through social media. I’m grateful to be part of this crafty community where we support and build each other up. I was inspired by the grateful mindset to create this slimline card featuring You Autumn Know and Scripty Autumn Sentiments by Lawn Fawn.

Lawn Fawn You Autumn Know

To begin, I stamped all of the images with Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto smooth cardstock. Using my Copic Markers, I colored all of the images.

Copic Marker Combination

Mice: W7, W5, W3, W1, W0, R20, R30
Bellies: W3, W1, W0
Leaves: YG06, Y15
Leaves: YG03, YG01, Y15
Leaves: YR07, YR15, Y35, Y15

Working on the background, I die-cut brown cardstock using the largest stitched slimline die from Stitched Card Panels and Windows by Trinity Stamps. Next, I die cut a scalloped slimline panel using Scalloped Slimline with Hearts in Landscape by Lawn Fawn and ink blended the panel.

Lawn Fawn You Autumn Know

At this point, I began assembling all of the elements onto my top panel using liquid adhesive or glue dots. Part of the sentiment was white heat embossed then die cut with a coordinating die. Lastly, I added the top panel to the brown mat and adhered everything to a slimline card base.

As always thank you so much for stopping by, until next time….sprinkle a little creativity on your day!

Lawn Fawn Critters in the Forest | Copic Coloring

Lawn Fawn Critters in the Forest

Hey crafty friends! I’ve been on a kick lately to reach into my stash of crafty supplies and pull-out stamps that have not seen the light of day since they were bought. You know those that you had to have, then you bought, and never used. We all have them.

Don’t get me wrong, I love new release items but there’s a little issue of space and money to consider at this point in my crafty journey. Long story short, I personally need to be very particular about the new items I purchase and revisit some of my older crafty goodies to create with.

Lawn Fawn Critters in the Forest

I’m starting off with this gem by Lawn Fawn called Critters in the Forest. My favorite type of stamp is critters and these were super fun to color.

Copic Marker Combination

Pine Tree: G29, YG67, YG63, YG03
Fox: E09, YR18, YR07, YR14, YR12, E53, E50
Owl: E47, E44, E43, light E43, E41, YR18, Y35
Raccoon: W7, W5, W3, Light W5, W3, W1, W0
Hedgehog: E49, E47, E44, E43, Light E43, E52, E41
Tree trunk: E29, E27, E25, E23 Light E23, E21
Toad Stool: R29, R24, YR15, E44, E43, E41

After coloring the images, I used my ScanNCut to cut the images out leaving a small border. For the background, I die cut a piece of Lawn Fawn paper bag cardstock using the Stitched Woodgrain Backdrop die. Next, I added Vintage Photo Distress ink to give the panel some depth.

Lawn Fawn Critters in the Forest

I created a little scene for the front panel by ink blending Broken China and Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide ink for the sky. Using Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide ink, I ink blended the grass and die cut the panel with Simple Grassy Hillside die.

To complete this card, I added all of the focal point elements to the front panel, stamped the sentiment, and adhered the panel to the background.

Lawn Fawn Scripty Bubbles Sentiment | Copic Coloring

Lawn Fawn Scripty Bubble Sentiments

Hey crafty friends! I’m sharing a fun birthday Rainbow-inspired card today featuring the adorable little mouse from Lawn Fawn’s Scripty Bubbles Sentiment stamp set.

My intention was to create a mouse holding a balloon for a fun Rainbow birthday card. I started by arranging the images in my Misti since I would be repeat stamping, then I stamped out the image several times. Next, using a Copic-friendly black marker, I drew a line connecting the images to create a string for the balloon.

Copic Marker Combination

Pink Mouse/Balloon: RV66, RV55, RV52, RV10, RV00 (On Balloon)
Green Mouse/Balloon: YG17, YG06, YG03, YG01, YG00
Blue Mouse/Balloon: BG07, BG05, BG02, BG01, BG000
Yellow Mouse/Balloon:  Y38, Y18, Y15, Y13, Y11
Orange Mouse/Balloon: YR09, YR07, YR04, YR02, YR01

For the background, I decided to create a rainbow watercolor smooshing look. Using a piece of acetate, I smooshed the ink onto white cardstock and added additional water droplets with a clean brush. I used Kitch Flamingo, Mowed Lawn, Mermaid Lagoon, Mustard Seed, and Carved Pumpkin to create the background. When I was happy with the background, I set the entire panel to completely dry.

Lawn Fawn Scripty Bubble Sentiments

I used the Scalloped Slimline with Hearts in Landscape die to die-cut a piece of black cardstock. I layered the die-cut on a piece of slate gray cardstock and stamped out the sentiment. To create a little interest to the background, I created a stencil by die-cutting cardstock with the Polka Heart Backdrop by Lawn Fawn and ink blending an bolder colors of Distress Oxide ink. Finally, I added the watercolor panel with foam adhesive to layered cardstock.

I have a speed coloring video on my Instagram for you to check out if you’re interested, where I share how I colored one of the images.  As always thank you so much for stopping by, until next time….sprinkle a little creativity on your day!

Collected Crafty Collabs July Hop | Lawn Fawn Happy Trails and Spring Fling Pattern Paper

Hi crafty friends, I’m so excited to participate in the Collected Crafty Collab for the month of July. Each month, a handful of my crafty
friends get together to create a blog hop and create some amazing projects using supplies we’ve collected that are due for a little love.

Lawn Fawn Happy Trails

Each month, the hop is inspired by a different theme and an optional supply and for the month of July, the theme is Outdoors with
optional pattern paper.

This was a perfect opportunity to dig into my stash of pattern paper and incorporate the optional supply in my card, along with an
older Lawn Fawn stamp that has NEVER BEEN USED!

I decided to create an interactive card by using a slider die to die cut a channel to move my little card and trailer down the hill-y road.

Lawn Fawn Happy Trails

After stamping all of the images with Memento Tuxedo ink onto a piece of Neenah Solar White 80lb cardstock and I colored them in
with Copic markers.

Copic Markers Combination

Red Cad/Half Camper: R39, R29, R27, R24, R22
Gray Half of the camper: N5, N3, N1, N0
Glass: B01, B000
Road: N9, N7, N5, N3
Trees: YG67, YG17, YG06, YG01

For the background, I used pattern paper from the Lawn Fawn Spring Fling Petite Paper Pad and finished the scene with a die-cut of
the sun from Spring Showers die set.

Lawn Fawn Summer Scene | Birthday Stamps | Copic Coloring

Hello everyone, I’m sharing a fun summer scene card featuring a ton of Lawn Fawn stamps and dies. This card was inspired by
the current LawnFawnatics Challenge to create a scene card.

Lawn Fawn Party Kangaroo

I began the card by die cutting several Lawn Fawn backdrops and ink blending them that I will incorporate in my scene. I
used Wild Honey and Mustard Seed Distress Oxide ink on the Sunrise Backdrop, Salty Ocean Distress Oxide Ink on the
Stitched Cloud Backdrop, Mowed Lawn and Twisted Citron Distress Oxide ink on the Simple Stitched Hillside Borders
and finally, I colored the tree from the Leafy Tree Backdrop using Copic Markers.

Lawn Fawn Party Koala

While I had the markers out, I colored the Party Kangaroo and Party Koala after stamping them out using Memento Tuxedo
ink onto a piece of Neenah Solar White 80lb. cardstock.

Copic Color Combination

Koala: W7, W5, W3, W1, W0, Blender, R22, R20
Kangaroo: E44, E43, E42, E41, R22, R20
Tree: E79, E74, E44, E43
Leaves: YG01, YG07
Hats: R85, R81, V17, BG49

Lawn Fawn Party Kangaroo

After coloring and die cutting the images, it was time to arrange my little scene. I adhered the Sunrise die-cut to the front of
the cloud backdrop with liquid adhesive. I added the hillside border and arranged the tree, the adorable Kangaroo and Koala,
and a sentiment strip that I white heat embossed onto a piece of black cardstock.

I have a video tutorial of this card where I share how I created this card and how I colored the images with Copic Markers.

Lawn Fawn Beep Boop Birthday Goodie Bag

Hi crafty friends, I’m sharing a birthday goodie bag I created for any upcoming birthday that might be rolling in through the
summer and replenish my stash of birthday goodies.

Lawn Fawn Beep Boop Birthday and Goodie Bag Die

To create this goodie bag, I had to be a little creative since I did not have a 12 x 12 piece of cardstock I wanted to use. I die cut a
piece of Neenah Solar White 100lb. cardstock using the Goodie Bag die by Lawn Fawn, then I placed my die over the top of a 6 x 6
sheet of patterned paper and die-cut only the front of the panel. I trimmed the Really Rainbow pattern paper to fit over the goodie
bag and adhered it with liquid adhesive.

Lawn Fawn Beep Boop Birthday and Goodie Bag Die

For the images, I used a Beep Boop Birthday, which is retired (sadly) and colored in the images using Copic Markers then cut
them out using my ScanNCut.

Copic Markers Combination

Robots: C7, C5, C3, C1, C0, C00, R22
Pink: R85, R81, RV00
Teal: BG53, BG49
Yellow: Y17

Lawn Fawn Beep Boop Birthday and Goodie Bag Die

Using one of the green pattern papers from the Really Rainbow 6 x 6 paper pad, I die cut two green hills using the Simple Stitched
Hillside Borders Die, then stamped the birthday sentiment on one of the hills while the other sentiment was stamped onto a
piece of black cardstock and white heat embossed.

I added all of the elements onto the bag, using either foam tape or liquid adhesive to finish these bags. I plan to create several bags to
have on hand for any kids’ birthday parties.

Lawn Fawn Beep Boop Birthday

This goodie bag was inspired by the current LawnFawnatics Challenge to create anything but a card, be sure to head over to the LawnFawnatics blog to check out what the design team created for this challenge.

Lawn Fawn Rawrsome

Clouds: B26, B23, B21, B41

After I finished coloring, I used my ScanNCut to cut most of the images out and dies for a few of the elements.

Lawn Fawn Rawrsome

For the background, I taped down a piece of Arches Coldpress Watercolor Paper to a wooden board and creating a nighttime
inspired sky using my Koi Watercolor Set. After the panel was dry, I added gold splatters to mimic the stars in the sky using a
shimmery gold watercolor paint.

For the ground, I ink blended a piece of Bristol smooth cardstock with Distress Inks in Vintage Photo and Ground Espresso
then added texture with a dark brown Copic marker and a white gel pen. I brought in one more die cut element from the Palm
Trees die set, which I colored with Copic Markers.

stamped-image-puffin-whale-seal

For the background, I die cut a piece of Bristol Smooth cardstock with the stitched slimline die by Trinity Stamps and
blended Distress ink in Dried Marigold over the bottom and Worn Lipstick across the top of the panel. I spritzed the panel
with water and blotted it dry with a clean paper towel. Once the panel was dry, I splattered it with diluted Opaque Copic
white paint for a little added texture.

On another piece of Bristol smooth cardstock, I ink blended Distress Ink in Blueprint Sketch and die-cut waves
using stitched wave borders.

Lastly, I stamped the sentiment onto the slimline panel with Versafine Onyx Black ink and began adhering all of the
elements on the card front. You can watch how I created this card over on my YouTube channel linked below.

Lawn Fawn Oh What Fun | Clean and Simple Christmas Handmade Card

Hi everyone, I’ve had this stamp in my stash for a little while now and finally pulled it out for a quick and easy Christmas card,
inspired by the current LawnFawnatics Challenge: Happy Little Holiday Critters.

Lawn Fawn Oh What Fun stamp set combined with Lawn Fawn Snowy Backdrop die and Lawn Fawn Winter Wavy Sayings Christmas Handmade card.

I stamped the adorable Santa bear from the Lawn Fawn Oh What Fun stamp set onto a piece of Neenah Solar White 80lb.
cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Ink and used my Copic markers to color in this image.

Copic Markers Combination

Red: R39, R37, R35, R14
Gold: Y00, Y04, Y23, YR23, Y28
Bear: E25, E23, E21, R22
White: C3, C1, C00
White Gel Pen

Lawn Fawn Oh What Fun stamp set combined with Lawn Fawn Snowy Backdrop die and Lawn Fawn Winter Wavy Sayings Christmas Handmade card.

I envisioned a snow globe effect but the snow globe die would have cut out most of the background. So plan B was to use the
largest stitched circle tag and die cut the tag from a white A2 sized panel.
For the background, I used a piece of navy heavyweight cardstock and the Snowfall Backdrop by Lawn Fawn
and simply die cut the panel.

Lawn Fawn Oh What Fun stamp set combined with Lawn Fawn Snowy Backdrop die and Lawn Fawn Winter Wavy Sayings Christmas Handmade card.

To complete this card, I adhered the navy panel directly to a white card base then added the top panel with foam tape
for some dimension. I set the focal point pieces inside and then added a sentiment and finished the card off
with a couple of die-cut hearts from red cardstock with glossy accents.
