Sometimes the sweetest cards tell a little story. For this one, using the La-La Land Crafts February 2026 KOTM products, I imagined Marci tending her flowers on a bright countryside day, surrounded by rolling hills and blooms. The scene felt like the perfect match for the sentiment “Big things grow from small beginnings.”

I started the card using patterned paper from the Countryside Paper Pack, choosing the rolling-hill landscape for a countryside setting.
Next, I colored Marci and the die-cut flowers using my Copic markers.

To create the flower pot, I used the watering can die-cut, but modified it slightly. I die-cut the smaller base and the lip of the can from cardstock to transform it into a planter. Then I inked the watering can’s edges to add depth and dimension before attaching the flowers behind it so they look like they’re blooming right out of the pot.

Cards like this are always a joy to create because they feel like a tiny snapshot of a happy moment. A little sunshine, a few flowers, and a reminder that the smallest beginnings can grow into something beautiful.
Thanks so much for stopping by!
