Hi everyone,
Today’s projects are all about rainbow and feature two of the new products from the latest Lawn Fawn release just in time for spring.

I created two similar cards in the design but totally different in approach. For the first card, I created an ink blended background using Distress Inks in Picked Raspberry, Spun Sugar, Evergreen Bough and Peacock Feathers.
Using the Lattice Backdrop die by Lawn Fawn, I die cut a panel of black cardstock which I overlaid onto the ink blended background.
For the focal point images on this card, I die cut the butterflies from vellum and the outline from watercolor cardstock which had been colored using Finetec Pearlescent Watercolors.
For the second card, I created another rainbow background this time using several colors of Distress Oxide Inks. Starting with a piece of Bristol smooth cardstock, I ink blended Picked Raspberry, Carved Pumpkin, Squeezed Lemonade, Twisted Citron and Mermaid Lagoon in stripes of bold color.
Once the panel was dry, I used the Fancy Lattice Backdrop, this time on the rainbow background panel overlaid on top of a piece of black cardstock. The butterflies on this card were die cut from black cardstock and bits and pieces from the previously die cut watercolor butterfly.
