Good morning everyone, I’m so excited to participate in my first ever Instagram Hop with a handful of talented crafters
featuring shaker cards. There is something so fun about creating an interactive card, it’s
truly amazing to see the recipient’s reaction.
This hop is sponsored by Trinity Stamps and there is a GIVEAWAY!
If you’re new to Trinity Stamps, they are a small family run business featuring high-quality clear stamps.
I mostly love their whimsy stamps but they offer some elegant florals and fun sentiments as well. Check out their
website here, and you’ll soon understand why I’m so honored to be a part of this hop.
For my shaker card, I created a slimline ink blended “Snail Mail” card featuring Mr. Snailman Stamp set. I began the
card by die cutting a piece of Bristol smooth cardstock using the largest slimline die from the Slimline
Card Series: Stitched Card Panels and Windows set by Trinity Stamps.
Using Picked Raspberry, Carved Pumpkin and Fossilized Amber Distress Oxide inks, I ink blended this panel
in a gradient from darkest to lightest going up to the top. I splattered the panel with water and blotted it dry with
a paper towel. Once the panel was dry, I splattered it with diluted Opaque Copic white paint for a little added texture.
For the shaker frame, I die cut a white panel using the stitched window die and one of the smaller stitched slimline dies.
For the adorable snail image, I stamped it out with Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto a piece of Neenah Solar
White 80lb. cardstock then used my Copic Markers to color the images in.
Color Combination
Snail’s shell: E47, E44, E43, E42, E41
Snail’s body: YG67, YG17, YG03, YG00
Present: R85, R83, RV52, RV10
Mailbox: E47, E44, E43, E42, E41
Pink: R85, R83, RV52, RV10
Grass: YG67, YG17, YG03, YG00
Once the coloring was finished, I used my ScanNCut to cut both of the images out. I added a white heat embossed
sentiment to the card and finally added the shaker sequins to complete this card.
I hope you’ll join me on this Instagram hop and follow the link for a chance of winning a gift certificate to Trinity Stamp.
Thank you so much for stopping by, until next time….sprinkle a little creativity on your day!

This has got to be one of the cutest things I’ve seen all day! I’m a big fan of ‘Snail Mail” stamp sets but somehow I have not seen this one til now… and I’ll be adding it to a shopping cart before I go to bed tonight!!! Your coloring is beautiful, as is your ink blended background. The fact that you also made this a shaker card is just a bonus!!! I’m just loving the little hat on the snail’s head!!! Thank you so much for sharing this with us all at 2 Crafty Critter Crazies and please come back and play along again soon!
