Today I’m sharing several cards I made using the Scrapping for Less FOTM May 2018 Card Kit called In the Country. Whew! Say that three times fast!

Scrapping For Less May FOTM Card Kit In the Country Side

I’m a huge fan of cards kits because I think you get the most bang for your buck and it’s an opportunity to build your stash of goodies.

I’m following the suggested sketch guidelines available at the Scrapping For Less website to create these 4 cards using the 4 collections from the kit.

For card one, I’m using collection #1 and following sketch #1 to create this very country vintage card. I am only using the patterned papers and the ephemera from the collection to create this card.

I love to create scenes on my cards and the stickers in the kit were an excellent opportunity to do just that. It’s a mini farm inspired scene following sketch # 2 and using the papers from collection # 2.

For this card, I used the piggy picnic stamp set from collection # 3 to stamp and Copic color the images to create those adorable piggy’s having a picnic.

Copic color combinations:

Piggy’s: R32, R30, W7 and W5
Basket: E27, E23, YG13, YG11, Y15, R27
Sun: Y19 and Y15

I used the tiny checks patterned papers from collection #3 and followed sketch # 4 to complete this piggy picnic card.

Scrapping For Less May FOTM Card Kit In the Country Side featuring Barnyard by Avery Elle Stamp set and Farm House by American Crafts paper pad.

For my last card, I used collection # 4 and followed sketch # 3 very loosely. I used some dies from my stash to die cut the windows in the patterned paper and add those adorable little chicks in.

Copic color combinations:

Chicks: Y17, Y15, Y11, YR18, YR14, C1 and 0
Grassy hill: G99 and G94
butterfly: R85 and R83

I have created a process video of each card I created and I will have links to all the products I used at the bottom of this post.
