Good morning everyone, today’s fun coffee card features the Sugar Pea Design’s Later Gator who is ready to celebrate with a
frozen mocha! Of course, this sweet card is inspired by the Spring/Summer Coffee Lover’s Blog Hop of 2020.
To begin this card, I stamped out the image using Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto a piece of Neenah Solar While 80 lb. cardstock.
I used my Copic Markers to color in the image and then I used my ScanNCut to cut it out.
Copic Color Combination
Alligator: YG67, YG17, YG13, YG11, YG01
Belly: YG23, YG21
Balloon: YG17, YG13, YG11, YG01
Hat: C5, C3, C1
Coffee: B29, B26, B21, C5, C3, C1
For the background, I started by ink blending a piece of Bristol Smooth cardstock using Blueprint Sketch Distress Oxide ink and
added water splatters for a little texture.
I cut the ink blended panel to about half the size and combined it with a yellow striped piece of pattern paper
(which is sadly discontinued).
I arranged the elements of my card following a sketch on the Sugar Pea Designs Blog for their current May Mix it up Challenge.
My card follows the colors and the sketch provided.
As always, thank you so much for stopping by, until next time….sprinkle a little creativity on your day!
