Here is one last Valentine’s Day inspired project for the Valentine’s Day Series of this year and this one is a special gift that you can create and give to someone special.
For this project I’m using two of the stamps from the Simons Says Stamp Special Edition Valentine’s Day Kit for 2019. The kit is sold out, but the stamps are available for purchase separately from the kit.
This project was inspired by the wonderfully talented Alyce Keegan from Kit and Clowder. This was a special free class that she offers to her current class subscribers each month that you stay on.
She provides a free markers 101 class on her website for everyone to checkout. I can tell you that I’ve been a subscriber for some time and the techniques and tips she has taught me are invaluable to developing my coloring skills.

For my candle projects, I created a template to help me color by stamping the image and the sentiment exactly as I would want the completed project to look.
I used my Copic markers to color in both of the images by working on a small area at a time. As tissue paper is not the most ideal paper for Copics, I took care to work in small areas to ensure that I get a nice blend between the colors.
