Hi crafty friends! I have a fun one-layer scene card to share with you featuring Newton’s Nook Designs’ Winston Takes Flight.
I created a simple one-layer card by stamping out the images, which luckily did not overlap. Next, I created masks and ink blended the background with Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Ink in the center and Salty Ocean Distress Oxide ink around the edges. I splattered the background with white paint and colored the images with my Copic Markers.
Copic Color Combinations
Bear: E44, E43, E42, E41
Plane: R39, R29, R24, C5, C3, C1
Yellow: Y38, Y06
Black: W5, W7
Mountains: E79, E77, E74, E71
White: C1, C0, White Gel Pen
When my card panel was complete, I used a stitched rectangle die to die cut the panel to A2 size. For the sentiment, I used Versafine Onyx Black ink and set it with black embossing powder.
I am so excited about this challenge and I hope you like my take on a one-layer challenge. Thank you so much for stopping by; until next time….sprinkle a little creativity on your day!
