Sunny Studio Stamps Passionate Penguins | Valentine Scene Card | Copic Coloring

Hi crafty friends, and happy Monday! Looking for a card to surprise someone special? I’m sharing a super sweet card for Valentine’s Day featuring Sunny Studio Stamps’ cutest penguins.

Sunny Studio Passionate Penguins and Heart Bouquet Stamps

I combined Passionate Penguins with Heart Bouquet Stamps to create this fun little scene card. After stamping the image, I used my Copic Markers to color everything.

Copic Marker Combination

Penguins: N9, N7, N5
Dot Texture: N3, N1, N0
Pink: RV55, RV52
Red:  R39, R29, R27, R24, R22

My card is a 5×7 size, die-cut from pink cardstock, and splattered with white and pink paint. Next, I created the clouds from white cardstock and added slight shading with Mermaid Lagoon Distress Oxide ink. And, of course, I had to add splatters to those panels as well.

Once the panels were dry, I stamped the sentiment with black ink and finished the card by adhering the images with liquid or foam adhesive for dimension.

I really hope you enjoy this card, and as always, thank you so much for stopping by; until next time….sprinkle a little creativity on your day!

Lawn Fawn Scent with Love | Be My Valentine | Copic Coloring

Hi crafty friends! With Valentine’s Day just around the corner, celebrating is a great way to remind the family and friends in your life how much you care about them. I created a sweet Valentine’s Day-inspired card that can be given to someone special.

Lawn Fawn stamps and dies

For this card, I began creating the background first. Using the Polka Heart Backdrop in Portrait, I die-cut a piece of pink cardstock. Next, I stamped and colored the images from Scent with Love with my Copic Markers.

Copic Marker Combination

Skunks: N9, N7, N5, N3
White: W1, Dot texture: W3, W5
Red: R39, R27, R24, R22

Lawn Fawn stamps and dies

I used the Giant Be My Valentine die for the sentiment and the Valentine Heart Borders for the grounding element; both die cut from teal cardstock.

Lastly, I added the images with liquid adhesive or foam tape and a few highlights with my white gel pen to complete this card.

MFT Stamps Christmas Cheer | Christmas Scene Card | Copic Coloring

Hi crafty friends! I hope you’re doing well and enjoying your weekend. One of the highlights of the Christmas Season is sending and receiving Christmas cards. As a card maker, I absolutely love to create Christmas cards to send out to my family and friends.

MFT Stamps Christmas Cheer

Today, I’m sharing a card I created using MFT Stamps’ Christmas Cheer stamp set. I love any stamp set that features critters, but this one is especially adorable. I started by creating the masks for my stamped images and stamping the images in the front first, followed by the background.

Copic Marker Combination

Arctic Fox: E41, E50, W00, R30
Bunny: E44, E43, E42, E41, Blender
Tree: G17, G02, G00, G000
Red: R39, R29, R24
Trees in the back: BG72, G17, G02
Snow: G02, G00, G000, G0000

When I create a one-layer card, I usually ink blend the background before coloring. I do this just in case I don’t like the background, or some bleed-through occurs, and it won’t ruin the colored images. For this background, I used Cracked Pistachio, Evergreen Bough Distress Oxide inks on the card front, and Pine Needles Distress Oxide ink just on the edges of the card. I added white splatters for my snowy scene. Then I colored the images.

To finish the card, I heat embossed and sentiment and added highlights with my white gel pen. I really hope you enjoy this card and as always, thank you so much for stopping by; until next time….sprinkle a little creativity on your day!

Sunny Studio Stamps Farm Fresh

Lately, I’ve been creating larger cards, and this was a perfect opportunity to create a 5 x 7 card for my farm scene. For the background, I ink-blended two hillsides die cuts, one straight die-cut with green Distress Oxide inks, and the sky using blue Distress Oxide ink.

Using a sentiment from an older MFT Stamps stamp set, I heat embossed it onto the background using black embossing powder. And finally, I adhered my images onto the card front using liquid adhesive or glue dots.
