Hey everyone,
I hope you’re still enjoying the holiday season with your family and friends! As a preschool teacher, I am taking some much needed time to rest, relax and play in my craft room. I needed to make a ton of thank you cards since I have the most generous students and each one gave me a Christmas gift. And since my students are 3 years old, the pop culture stamps from Kindred Stamps are perfect for them.
I decided to use three different characters, just to mix it up a little bit. I stamped all of my images onto a piece of Neenah solar white 80 lb cardstock with Memento Tuxedo black ink and used my Scan N Cut 2 to cut all of the images with a slight border.
I have to say that I LOVE my Scan N Cut 2, it has more than paid for itself, and made this project in particular easy to complete.
I used my Copic markers to color all of the images and the combinations are listed below.
Polynesian Adventures girl

Hair: E79, E59 and E47
Top: R46 and R49
Bottom Dress: E11 and E 13 then I took Y13 and went over it to lighten it
Top layer of dress: 0, W1, W2 and Spectrum Noir Sparkle pen
Building Blocks guy

Glass Slipper Princess

After coloring the images, which took a little time since I had 20 to color, the only thing left to do is assemble my die cut pieces onto a piece of white card stock, add some little touches of embellishments and write my thank you messages for my students.
I absolutely adore the end result of these thank you cards. I may create some more to have on hand for the next round of gifts! As always, thanks for stopping by, until next time….sprinkle a little creativity on your day!
P.S. I edit all my projects using Pic Monkey, which allows me to crop my images, add effects, adjust exposures, sharpen colors, minor touch up and add my watermark. Click here for more information
