Happy May, crafty friends! It’s the first Sunday of the month and that means a new challenge on the Lil Patch of Crafty Friends Challenge Blog. This month, team A is sponsored by Joy Clair Designs. The design team was given “Cup of Joy Digital Set” to work with for this challenge.
I printed the image onto smooth white cardstock and created a mask by printing the image again onto a piece of copy paper. Once I had the mask in place, I ink blended the background using Mustard Seed Distress Oxide ink and Wild Honey Distress Oxide at the edges. For texture, I created white and yellow splatters and then colored the image with Copic Markers.

Once I finished coloring, I used a stitched rectangular die to trim the panel slightly smaller than the A2 size. And I added the panel with foam adhesive to an A2-sized white top folding card base to finish my card.
