Hi there and welcome to my blog! I have an adorable card to share with you featuring Heffy Doodles’ Rescue Dogs.
For this card, I started with the background first. I ink blended a piece of Bristol smooth cardstock with Mermaid Lagoon
Distress Oxide ink and a blending brush tool. Next, I used Mustard Seed Distress Oxide ink and ink blended another panel.
Once the panels were dry, I used two stitched rectangle dies to die cut the panels down to two different sizes.
Next, I secured the Star Swirl stencil by Heffy Doodle onto the yellow panel and spread a nice and thin layer of the Nuvo Glitter paste in Garnet Red.
While the panel was drying, I stamped the two images onto a piece of Neenah Solar White 80lb cardstock and used Copic markers to color in the images.
Copic Markers Combination
Dark Dog: E49, E29, E25, E33, E31, E30
Red Cape/Mask: R02, R05, R29, R46, R89
Yellow: Y000, Y02, Y06, Y17
Light Dog: E18, E15, E11, E00, E000
Green Cape/Mask: YG00, YG17, YG01, YG07, G28
At this point, all of the elements were completed and I was ready to create my card. I stamped the sentiment onto a piece of black cardstock and white heat embossed it before die cutting it with a slanted sentiment strip. I adhered the largest inked panel to an A2 sized card base, I popped up the center panel with fun foam and finally adhered all of the element onto foam tape for a little extra dimension.
