For Christmas 2016 (1 year ago) I received a Cricut Explorer Air 2, and it seems as though I have not had enough use of it since I got it. But as one of my New Year’s resolutions, I am going to learn and create more with my Cricut Explorer Air 2.
Using a Circuit cartridge called Valentine’s Sweets, I made this Valentine’s Day inspired card using one of the images. The original image is a two layer cut with the lovers nested in a heart outline.
I decided to cut the lovers silhouette in black and add a red heart shaped doily to the background. The focal image complements the patterned piece of paper very well and I love the simplicity of this card. I chose not to add a sentiment because I think that it would get lost in the card and when I am ready to send this card out I can pick a perfect sentiment for the inside.
