Hey everyone,
Today I’m sharing a Valentine’s Day card inspired by Cardz TV Anything Goes Challenge # 31 and Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge. I’m getting a little better with implementing my Cricut Explore Air 2 in my crafting and card making and this card was created with the help of my Cricut Explore Air 2.
The ladybug is cut from the Create a Critter Cricut Cartridge and red, pink and black cardstock. I cut the ladybug image at 2 5/16 x 3 3/8 and adhered all of the pieces with liquid glue.
Working on the card base, I cut a piece of red cardstock down to 5 x 5 and adhered the panel to the card base. Using the teal hearts patterned paper from My Favorite Things, I die cut a stitched scalloped square slightly smaller than the red card panel.
Next, I cut a heart and added it with some fun foam for dimension. And finally, I added the ladybug and the sentiment from Pink & Main’s Lil’ Love Bug with foam adhesive for dimension.
As a final touch, with a white gel pen I added the faux stitched lines around the heart and the red base panel with a few red enamel dots to complete this adorable ladybug Valentine’s Day card.
As always, thanks for stopping by, until next time….sprinkle a little creativity on your day!
P.S. I edit all my projects using Pic Monkey, which allows me to crop my images, add effects, adjust exposures, sharpen colors, minor touch up and add my watermark. Click here for more information
