Whimsy Stamps Gnome Haunted Forest

Hey crafty friends! I am excited to share with you a one-layer card featuring the newly released Gnome Haunted Forest Cling stamp by Whimsy Stamps.

CARD DETAILS

I was inspired to create this card by the many talented cardmakers out there that create pieces of artwork using just a coloring medium.

I stamped the image out on a piece of Neenah Solar White 80lb. cardstock using Memento Tuxedo Ink and used my Copic Markers to coloring and create the scene.

Once the coloring was complete, I used a stitched rectangle die to trim the panel down to mat it to a piece of black cardstock then matted it to a side folding white card base.

Collected Crafty Collabs September Hop | Pink and Main Season of Change

Hi crafty friends, I’m hopping along with my crafty friends in the Collected Crafty Collab for the month of September. This month the hop is inspired by my favorite season, Fall with the optional sequence.

 

Pink and Main Season of Change

 

For this month, I grabbed a never used stamp set from Pink and Main called Season of Change. As luck would have it, the stamp and die bundle is on sale at Pink and Main.

After stamping all of the images with Memento Tuxedo ink onto a piece of Neenah Solar White 80lb cardstock and I colored them in with Copic markers.

Pink and Main Season of Change
For the background, I ink blended a piece of Bristol smooth cardstock using Mustard Seed, Wild Honey, and Abandoned Coral Distress Oxide ink. I sprayed the panel with water to create texture then added white and black paint splatters.

While that panel was drying, I die cut several pieces of brown cardstock using Lawn Fawns’ Leafy Tree Backdrop. Then I used the Lawn Fawn Simple Grassy Hillsides to die cut the grass panel.

I stamped the sentiment onto the background panel and began arranging all of the images using foam adhesive, then added the entire panel to a side folding A2 sized card base.

Lawn Fawn Butterfly Kisses and Jump For Joy | Awesome Autumn | Copic Marker colored

Happy Thursday afternoon! It is almost the weekend – thankfully so! But before the weekend, I have a festive “So Thankful For You”
card to share featuring Lawn Fawn’s Butterfly Kisses and Jump For Joy, as well as Knit Picky Fall patterned paper also by Lawn Fawn.

Lawn Fawn Butterfly Kisses, Lawn Fawn Jump for Joy, Copic Marker colored, Lawn Fawn Knit Picky Fall 6 x 6 petitie paper pack, So Thankful For You handmade card.

To make this card, I started by stamping the images onto a piece of Neenah Solar White 80lb cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Ink.
I used Copic markers to color in all of the images and ScanNCut and coordinating dies to cut the images out.

After I finished with the images, I set those aside to create the background. I personally love bright and bold contrasting colors
and thought the blue against the orange patterned paper was perfect for this fall-inspired card.

I used a piece of Bristol smooth cardstock and ink blended Distress Oxide in Mermaid Lagoon then die cut the panel using a stitched rectangle die. I picked out the bright orange patterned paper and die cut that panel with the largest Lawn Fawn stitched rectangle die.

To finish this card, I adhered all of the elements using liquid adhesive, popped up the focal images onto foam squares and
stamped the sentiment using Versafine Onyx Black ink and set it with black embossing powder.

This card was inspired by the current Lawn Fawnatics Challenge: Awesome Autumn.

SugarPea Designs Llama Just Say | Happy Birthday Card

Happy Sunday afternoon everyone, I have a birthday card to share featuring the adorable SugarPea Designs’ llama from
Llama Just Say stamp set.

SugarPea Designs Llama Just Say stamp, Copic colored images set against an ink blended background following sketch guide, Birthday handmade card.

I began the card by stamping the images with Memento Tuxedo ink onto a piece of Neenah Solar White 80lb cardstock.
I used Copic markers to color in the images and ScanNCut to cut them out.

Llama: W4, W3, W1, W0, Blender then I added dots at the edges of the image with W5, W7, and W9
Face: W3, W2, W0, R21, R11
Hooves: W9, W5, W3
Presents: B39, B37, B34, B21, B45

For my background, I ink blended Distress Oxide in Wilted Violet and Worn Lipstick onto a piece of Bristol Smooth cardstock
and then created some splatters with watered down black acrylic paint. I made another splatter background and
ink blended Peeled Paint Distress Oxide ink and die cut the panel with Meadow Borders Die by Lawn Fawn.

I used the sentiment from the stamp and stamped it onto a piece of black cardstock using VersaMark ink and white embossing powder.

To finish this card, I adhered all of the elements using liquid adhesive and added the main focal point images following the
sketch for Mix it Up Challenge for September 2019.

Heffy Doodle Hootiful and Stargazer Backdrop | Thank my Lucky Stars | Copic Coloring

Good morning crafty friends, I have a fun owl card to share with you, featuring Heffy Doodle’s Hootiful stamp and
Stargazer Backdrop die to create a mini night-time scene.

Heffy Doodle Hootiful stamp combined with Heffy Doodle Stargazer Backdrop die to create a mini night-time scene by ink blending with Distress Oxide inks Lucky Stars handmade card.

To start, I stamped all of the image from the stamp set onto a piece of Neenah Solar White 80lb cardstock with
Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I’ll often stamp out more images then I need for a card and save them for another time.
I used Copic markers to color in all of the images and ScanNCut to cut them out.

I created the background by ink blending Distress Oxide inks in Chipped Sapphire, Blueprint Sketch and Salty Ocean
onto a piece of Bristol Smooth cardstock. I did add a little Black Soot Distress Oxide ink at the top to mimic a darker night-time sky.

Heffy Doodle Hootiful stamp combined with Heffy Doodle Stargazer Backdrop die to create a mini night-time scene by ink blending with Distress Oxide inks Lucky Stars handmade card.

Next, I die cut the ink blended panel using Heffy Doodle’s Stargazer backdrop securing the stars in place with a little scotch tape.
I also die cut clouds with Heffy Doodle’s swirly clouds die and an old grass border die from my stash.

To finish this card, I adhered all of the elements using liquid adhesive or foam tape. Then I stamped the sentiment using clear
embossing ink and set it with white embossing powder. As a final touch, I added Nuvo Glitter Drops in White Blizzard over the stars.

Bugaboo Stamps Autumn Critters | Lil Patch of Crafty Friends | Design Team Project

Good morning everyone and welcome to my design team post for the Lil Patch of Crafty Friends Challenge Blog. This week,
our wonderful sponsor for the challenge is Bugaboo Stamps, and the image I created with is Autumn Critters.

I began the card by printing the digital image onto a piece of Neenah Solar White 80lb cardstock and colored it with Copic markers.
Next, I used my ScanN Cut to cut out the image, leaving a small white border.

Pumpkin: Y21, YR27, YR18, YR15, YR24, YR21, E49, E47, E44, E43

To create the background, I did an ink smooshing technique by smooshing Distress Oxide in Tumbled Glass on a piece of acetate
then spritzing just enough of water for the beads of water to form and then turning the piece of acetate onto a piece of
watercolor cardstock.  Hence ink smoothing. I followed the Tumbled Glass with Salty Ocean and Chipped Sapphire
Distress Oxide ink, drying in between each layer of color.

I combined the sentiment from two stamp sets and stamped it using Versafine Onyx Black ink. I did add black embossing powder
and set it with my heat tool to complete. All there was left to do to finish this card was to add the focal point image to the
center of the panel with foam squares and adhere the entire panel to an A2 sized card base.

Heffy Doodle You’re Weird | Love You to the Moon and Back | Copic coloring

Welcome back to my blog! Today I want to share with you an adorable “LOVE YOU TO THE MOON and BACK” alien card featuring
newly released images by Heffy Doodle called You’re Weird. I’ll be honest, aliens are not the typical images I choose, but these
were so stinkin’ adorable, I could not pass them up.

Heffy Doodle You’re Weird stamp combined with Sunny Studios’ Cityscape Border Die Cut and a nighttime ink blended background featuring Distress ink, to create a Love You To The Moon and Back handmade card.

To begin this card, I stamped out all of the images from the stamp set onto a piece of Neenah Solar White 80lb cardstock
using Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I used Copic markers to color in all of the images and ScanNCut to cut them out.

I created the background by ink blending Distress inks in Tumbled Glass, Broken China, Chipped Sapphire and Black Soot for a nighttime sky, leaving a moon outline covered with masking tape while ink blending.
Once I removed the masking paper, I added some shading with Copic markers to create some depth and shadows on the moon.
Next, using the Cityscape Border Die from Sunny Studios, I die cut several pieces with black cardstock and one white cardstock.
I kept all of the windows die cuts in so that my nighttime building had reflective windows.

Heffy Doodle You’re Weird stamp combined with Sunny Studios’ Cityscape Border Die Cut and a nighttime ink blended background featuring Distress ink, to create a Love You To The Moon and Back handmade card.

At this point, all of the elements of this card were ready and I began adhering them to an A2 sized card base to create the “Love You To The Moon and Back” mini-scene card.

Lawn Fawn Oh Gnome | Interactive Scene Card | Copic Coloring

Hello everyone, I’m sharing a very fun and bright interactive slider card featuring Lawn Fawn’s Oh Gnome stamp set.

Lawn Fawn Oh Gnome stamp combined with Lawn Fawn Stitched Hillside Backdrop, Flower Border die, Stitched Mountain Border and Slide on Over die to create an interactive scene handmade card.

The interactive slider card is still a challenge for me to create but each time I make one, it looks better.
So, with a little more practice I should have this nailed!

There was a lot of stamping and die-cutting components that went into this card, which I either used Copic markers to color in or colored cardstock to die cut out.

Copic Markers Combination

Gnomes: Purple V09, V05, V01 Teal: BG49, BG45. BG000
Hair: E57, E55, E53, E50
Skin: E00, E21, E11, R22
Beard: C3, C1, C00
Flowers: G19, YG09, G20 YG09, Y17, V12
Wheel Barrel: N7, N5, N3, N1

I created the background by ink blending Distress Oxide Mermaid Lagoon for the sky and a combination of Distress Oxide Mowed Lawn and Pine Needles for the hillside grass onto Bristol Smooth cardstock, which I die cut with hillside backdrop.

Next, I used a Lawn Fawn Slide on over die to die cut the interactive window for attaching one of the gnomes to move across the scene from one end to the other. Once that was in place, I was ready to

I adhered all of the elements using liquid adhesive and stamped the sentiment using Versafine Onyx black ink.

Polkadoodles Half Full | Lil Patch of Crafty Friends | Design Team Project

Today’s blog post is my first post as a design team member for Lil Patch of Crafty Friends Challenge Blog. I love to play in
crafty design challenges and often submit my cards. I’m so super excited to be on this team and for my first post, I am creating with Polkadoodles Glass Half Full Digital image.

Polkadoodles LTD. Glass Half Full digital image colored with Copic markers combined with MFT SY Scene Builder Stamp and Love and Adore by Simple Stories Paper Pad handmade card.

I printed the digital image onto a piece of Neenah Solar White 80 lb. cardstock and used Copic markers to color in the image
then fussy cut it out with scissors.

To create the background for the focal point image, I stamped a scenery image with grass hills, bush and clouds so that it’s
partly visible. I used Copic markers to color in the background and adhered it to an A2 sized card base.
To complete this card, I die cut a frame from a piece of pink patterned paper and popped up the frame using fun foam. And finally,
I created a custom sentiment by printing it myself and added it the card.
