Lawn Fawn Spooktacular | Pearl Alcohol ink Background | Copic Coloring

Hello everyone, I have one last Halloween inspired card to share, albeit a little late but better late than never! This card was inspired
by the current LawnFawnatics Sketch Challenge and features several products from Lawn Fawn.

Lawn Fawn Spooktacular Stamp set colored with Copic Markers combined with Lawn Fawn Spook Fence Border, Lawn Fawn Spring Showers and Lawn Fawn Grassy Border dies set against a Pearl Alcohol inked background. Handmade Halloween card. #LawnFawn #LawnFawnatics

For this card, I wanted to create a bright green background so I pulled out the Pearl Alcohol inks by Ranger in the colors Alchemy,
Sublime and Envy. I added all of the inks onto a piece of Yupo Paper and played around with adding additional ink,
blending solution and moving the ink by blowing through a straw to create this background.

While the background was drying, I stamped all of the images with Memento Tuxedo ink onto a piece of Neenah Solar White
80lb cardstock and colored them in with Copic markers.

Cat: C9, C7, C5, C3, R22
Jack O’ Lantern: E19, YR07, YR15, YR65, Y15, YG63, G28
Ghost: C3, C1, C00, R20
Hat: V17, V15, V12, V000

Once the background was dry, I added Distress Micro Glaze to seal in the color, then began working on the rest of the components.
I die cut the Spooky Fence Border, clouds from Spring Showers and Grassy Border from black cardstock, then stamped the
sentiment on the border and heat set it with white embossing powder.
Once I adhered the border to the background all there was left to do is to place the images and adhere it to the little scene.

The Daily Marker 30 Day Challenge | Day 2 | Lawn Fawn Critters in the Sea | Copic

Hello everyone,

For today’s blog post I am branching out and trying something new that I’ve never done before. I am giving myself time every day to sit down and color. With that, I am also participating in my first The Daily Marker 30 day challenge!

The Daily Marker 30 day Challenge 2018 featuring Lawn Fawn Critters in the Sea stamp set and Copic colored.

I’m super excited that this particular challenge encourages you to color, even for just 10 minutes a day. And I will save all of my colored images and make cards a little bit later. But for now, I’m going to just allow myself to relax and color since coloring is my most favorite part of creating a handmade card.

For the 2^nd day of the coloring challenge, I used a Lawn Fawn Critters in the Sea stamp set which I colored using Copic markers. For the dolphin, I used some cool grey markers and the little turtle was colored in with the less saturated greens.

Lawn Fawn ~ Fun with Dies Only Scene Card ~ Distress Oxide Ink

Hello everyone,

Today I’m sharing a card I made using a several Lawn Fawn dies inspired by the Lawnfawnatics Challenge # 24 – Fun with dies!

Lawn Fawn Palm Trees, Spring Showers, Hillside Borders and Ocean Wave Borders dies colored with Distress Oxide ink scene handmade card.

I began by die cutting all of the pieces from Bristol smooth cardstock because I wanted to use Distress Oxide inks to add color to my images.
I used Vintage photo Distress Oxide ink to create the beach and the trees, Lucky Clover Distress Oxide on the palm tree leaves, the crabs were colored with Distress Oxide ink in Candied Apple, the coconuts were colored using Walnut Stain Distress Oxide ink and the sun was colored with Squeezed Lemonade and darkened up with Wild Honey Distress Oxide ink.

I put all of the little images aside and began working on the background. First, adding Salty Ocean Distress Oxide ink all over a piece of Bristol smooth cardstock panel for the sky and then adding Blueprint sketch to darken up the areas for the sea.
After all of the pieces were dry, I began to arrange them to create a little beach scene and adhering the pieces to the background using either liquid glue or adding foam squares for a little dimension.

Lawn Fawn Valentine’s Day Tags ~ Ink Swiping Technique

Hello everyone,

Today I’m finally sharing the Valentine’s Day tags I made last week for my kids’ Valentine’s Day class exchange using several stamp sets from Lawn Fawn and some pre-cut tags.

Lawn Fawn Sealed with a Kiss, Whale you be mine, Rawr stamp sets Valentine’s Day tags created with ink swiping technique.

I needed to make close to 50 tags for my daughter, son and my students for Valentine’s Day exchange and I thought it would be super easy and quick to do ink swiping technique and stamp the images on top then die cut and assemble.

“Sharing the Love” Valentine’s Day Blog / Video Hop

Hey everyone,

I’m participating in my first ever blog hop with a blog post and a video tutorial of the card I made using some adorable products from Lawn Fawn.

Lawn Fawn Mom + Me stamp set, Bee mine stamp set, stitched clouds backdrop, stitched clouds backdrop, big scripty words stamp set colored with Copic Markers and Distress ink backgrounds Valentine’s Day handmade card.

My card was inspired by the fox family in the Mom + me stamp set and a few other products to create this not-so-traditional Valentine’s Day card.

Hero Arts CL Christmas Tree with Lawn Fawn Into the Woods~ Christmas Tag~Copic Colored~Challenge entry

Hey everyone,

So I seem to be on a Christmas roll as last week I completed my first Christmas card and this week I made some Christmas tags for the upcoming season. They are fairly simple but I think they are absolutely adorable! These tags are inspired by A Blog Named Hero Challenge.

Lawn Fawn Into the Woods combined with Hero Arts Color Layering Christmas Tree stamp sets colored with Copic Markers and layered with dye inks handmade Christmas tag.

First I die cut all of the tags from a piece of Neenah Solar White Smooth 80 lb cardstock, but if I had to do it over, I would have cut it from a 110 lb cardstock, as the 80 lb is not as sturdy as I would like the tag to be…. Live and learn!
Next, using the MISTI tool positioner, I stamped the Christmas tree from the Hero Arts’ Color Layering Christmas Tree stamp set directly onto all of the tags using various green dye inks. The last tree layer was stamped with Versamark ink and Hero Arts’ white embossing powder to mimic snow on the Christmas tree.

Next, I began working on the focal point image and I choose to add a baby deer from Lawn Fawn’s Into the Woods stamp set. I Copic colored the images before fussy-cutting them out.

Copic colors I used: E33, E35,E37and R20

I also used white gel pen to add three white dots on his body.

To complete the tags, I stamped the sentiment from the Hero Arts’ Color Layering Christmas Tree stamp set using Hero Arts’ Black dye ink, adhered the baby deer onto some foam adhesive for dimension, added a few gems for a little bling, and looped some matching twine on top of the tags.

These tags as simple as they may be are perfect to add to the teacher’s gift or student gift exchange!

Lawn Fawn Christmas inspired card~ Copic colored~Lawn Fawnatics Challenge entry 14

Hey everyone,

I finally made my first Christmas card of the season! Not bad, considering that there is 73 days until Christmas.
This year, I’m starting a little early and I started with a whimsy, cutesy card created by combining three different stamp sets from Lawn Fawn!
This card is also my entry into the Lawn Fawnatics Challenge 14 – Happy Little Critters. Please follow the link for more information.

Lawn Fawn Winter in the Park, Winter Sparrows and Ready, Set, Snow stamp sets colored with Copic Markers and Distress ink backgrounds handmade Christmas card.

I’ve been very intrigued with scene making ever since I saw a couple of other bloggers post their projects and I thought this would be an ideal opportunity to give it a go.
I first stamped all of the images onto a piece of Spectrum Noir Ultra smooth cardstock using Memento Tuxedo dye ink.
Using my Copic Markers, I colored all of the images…..

Birds: E55 and E57
Snowman: BG000, BV0000 and colorless blender
Red caps/shawls: R24 and R27
Green shawls: YG05 and YG07
Carrot Noses/Beaks: YR14 and YR18

Next, I created the scene for all of the cute images by creating two snow banks using Lawn Fawn’s Stitched Hillside Borders die and some white smooth cardstock.
The sky background was created by ink blending my favorite Distress Inks onto a piece of Bristol smooth cardstock.

After adhering the background pieces to an A2 sized card base, I added the images onto some foam square for dimension and a stitched frame around the edge of the card for a more polished look. And that completes my first Christmas card and entry into the challenge!

Lawn Fawn Hippo Birdie ~ Lawn Fawnatics Challenge 11 ~ Zig Clean Color Markers

Hey everyone,

I’m finishing the week off with this adorable card for the Lawn Fawnatics Challenge 11 – Cards for kids. I created this card to give to a friends’ child for an upcoming birthday and thought it was very fitting for this challenge entry.

Lawn Fawn Year Four Hippo and Birdie stamp colored with Zig Clean Color Real Waterbrush pens and patterned paper handmade card.

I stamped the images from Lawn Fawn Year Four onto a piece of Bristol smooth cardstock with Versafine Onyx Black ink and colored all of the images using the Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers.

Color combinations I used:
Hippo: 075 Brick Beige
Birdie: 050 Yellow and 070 Orange
Balloons: 202 Peach Pink and 042 Turquoise Green

I have been loving shaker cards lately and I wanted to create a shaker card for this challenge. To start, I die cut a piece of pink cardstock using Lawn Fawns Stitched Circle Frame dies and a piece of patterned paper from DCWV Simple Joy using Lawn Fawns’ Large Stitched Rectangle Stackable dies.

To complete this card, I adhered all of the patterned paper pieces, added some shaker pieces and added all of the images with foam squares to the top layer for some added dimension.

Lawn Fawn Elphie Selfie ~ Copic Colored ~ Happy Dance card

Hey everyone,

I just adore this little Elphie card I made and will be entering it into the Lawn Fawnatics Color Inspiration Board Challenge #9!

Lawn Fawn Elphie Selfie colored with Copic Markers, Lawn Fawn Perfectly Plaid Rainbow patterned paper and Lawn Fawn inks handmade card.

To create this card, I started by stamping the solid hearts from Lawn Fawn’s Elphie Selfie stamp set with the different color inks inspired by the challenge colors onto a piece of white cardstock panel. Using Lawn Fawn’s Large Stitched Rectangle Stackable dies, I cut the panel down using the second largest die.
I also stamped Elphie with Memento Tuxedo Black dye ink onto a piece of Spectrum Noir paper and colored her in using my Copic markers.

Colors I used: C1, C3 and C5

I’m still new to Copic markers and I’m still learning about the blending, shadow and color combinations but I’m practicing and hopefully it will show in my cards.

To put this card together, I reached into my beloved Lawn Fawn paper hoarding stash and pulled out this teal plaid paper for the background. I cut the panel down to 4.25” by 5.5” and adhered it to an A2 sized top folding card base. (Yikes, that was my last piece of plaid paper and after a minor panic attack, I placed my order for another pad!)
I added the hearts panel on top with fun foam for added dimension and added Elphie towards the bottom with foam tape.

For the sentiment I used Lawn Fawn’s Happy Happy Happy stamp set, and after looking at little Elphie who looks like she’s dancing, I chose Happy Dance, which I stamped onto a piece of black card stock with Versamark and heat embossed with white embossing powder.

And that completes my very happy Elphie card for an entry into Lawn Fawnatics Color Inspiration Board Challenge #9!

Lawn Fawn’s Stitched Kite ~ Ink Smooshing with Distress Ink ~ Spectrum Noir Markers

Hey everyone,

This cute little card was inspired by Lawn Fawn’s challenge blog summer theme challenge. They host a challenge twice a month with a new theme for each challenge. I find that the challenges allow me to step out of my card making comfort zone and try new things to learn.
So I was super excited for this challenge as I generally don’t build scenes in my cards but wanted to create a background for these cute little squirrels to fly their kites.

Lawn Fawn Cheery Christmas, Stitched Kites, and Sophie’s Sentiment handmade card colored using Spectrum Noir markers. Background created with ink smooshing Distress inks for a soft background.

The background was created by taking my favorite Distress inks for creating a sky and grass and ink smooshing them onto a piece of Ranger watercolor cardstock.
I stamped two squirrels from Lawn Fawn’s Cheery Christmas stamp set onto a piece of Spectrum Noir paper with some Memento Tuxedo Black dye ink and colored them using my Spectrum Noir markers.

Markers I used: TN3, EB3 and EB8

Moving on to the kites, I used Lawn Fawn’s Stitched Kite and die cut pink polka dot cardstock with a black frame to create two kites for these friends to play with.

To put this card together, I adhered a piece of bright pink cardstock to the base of a top folding A2 size card base. I took the water colored panel and added some foam tape to the back, more for added support than anything else. I arranged all my images and adhered them with foam tape for some added dimension.
I wanted to bring in some black elements to tone down the brightness of the card and used black and white baker’s twine for the line of the kite and wrapped a bit of it around the bottom.
To complete this card, I used a sentiment from Lawn Fawn’s Sophie’s Sentiments and heat embossed it in white onto a piece of black cardstock.

I think it’s a super cute summer inspired card and this is my entry for the Lawn Fawnatics Challenge number 8.
