Pawsome Stamps Purrfectly Spooky | Shaker Card and IG Hop Giveaway | Copic Coloring

Pawsome Stamps Purrfectly Spooky

Hi crafty friends, I’m sharing a spooky shaker card featuring the newly released stamps and dies by Pawsome Stamps.

I love using bright and bold colors on my cards, and I wanted the green background to pop against the black. Using Cut Grass and Fresh Lime Dylusions Ink Sprays, I spritzed a panel of watercolor cardstock. I did leave the splatters for a little texture.

Next, I stamped, colored, and die-cut the images from Purrfectly Spooky stamp by Pawsome Stamps.

COPIC COLOR COMBINATION

Cat: N9, N7, N5, N3
Purple: v04, v09
Green: YG01, YG05

Once the panel was dry, I created a shaker using Black Magic Sequence Mix and adhered all of the elements onto a piece of polka dot background paper.

Lawn Fawn Thanks a Bushel and Stinkin’ Cute  | Autumn Inspired Card | Copic Coloring

Hi crafty friends! Summer can’t last forever (thankfully so), and here in Florida, this is the most humid and hot month of the year. I’m looking forward to cooler weather, nightly strolls, and of course, kids going back to school.

I’m one of those who like the change of season, and this card is inspired by my favorite season – Autumn!

On a piece of teal cardstock, I stenciled the clouds with white pigment ink, then added splatters of white and blue paint.

Next, I die-cut several elements from cardstock and added Distress Oxide ink for shading.

I finished the card by stamping the sentiment and adhering all the elements with foam adhesive, liquid glue or glue dots to the front of my card panel.

SheepSki Designs Bumble Bee Blossom | Lil Patch of Crafty Friends | Copic Coloring

SheepSki Designs Bumble Bee Blossom

Happy Sunday crafty friends, and hello August! Here we are in that month when vacations are ending, beginning of school preparations, and, here in Florida, the temperatures are hot and humid. It’s an ideal time to visit a water park or spend a little extra time in the pool (both of which I did this past week)

We start the first Sunday of the month with the Lil Patch of Crafty Friends Challenge Blog. This time we are sponsored by SheepSki Designs. I chose Bumble Bee Blossom digital stamp for my card, found here.

To begin, I printed the image onto smooth cardstock and used my Copic Markers to color it in, then I used my ScanNCut to cut the image out.

Bee: Y17, Y13, Y11, Y00, N9, N7, N5, N3, N1, N0, B000, B00
Flower: RV04, RV55, RV52, RV00, YG01, YG03, YG17

Next, I created the background by die-cutting a panel of teal cardstock, adding Mermaid Lagoon Distress Oxide ink to the sides for shading, and stamping a crackle background to the panel.

I dug through my stash of stamps for the perfect sentiment and stamped it on the bottom of the card. Pop on over to the Lil Patch of Crafty Friends Challenge blog to see what my teammates created and enter the challenge for a chance to win!

Pink and Main Lady Luck | Slimline Card | Copic Coloring

Pink and Main Lady Luck

Hi crafty friends! Today’s card share features a Pink and Main stamp called Lady Luck. I’ve paired the cute images with a slimline connected rectangles die by Whimsy Stamps.

I stamped and colored the images using my Copic Markers and die-cut them with my ScanNCut.

Copic Marker Combination

Ladybugs: R39, R29, R24, N7, N5, N3, N1
Yellow: Y17, Y15, Y13
Flowers: Y17, Y13, N7, N5, N3, YG17, YG03
Pink: RV17, RV55, RV52, RV00
Dirt: E34, E27, E49
Pot: E18, E19, E08, E97, E95
Tin Can: C5, C3, C1

Pink and Main Lady Luck

For the background, I cut a panel of teal cardstock and ink blended the background with Mermaid Lagoon and Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide inks. I find when I ink-blend on colored cardstock, I need to start with a light hand, then build the intensity by layering the ink.

To finish my card, I adhered the frame die cut from white cardstock, stamped and embossed a sentiment, then added all the images with foam adhesive.

Next, I set out to create the dimensional box card by die-cutting all the builder elements with white heavy-weight cardstock while the teal pieces were die-cut from teal cardstock. I added a little shading with Mermaid Lagoon Distress Oxide ink to give it some interest.

To assemble my little scene, I die cut the Outside the Box Grassy Hills Die-namics from green cardstock inked Pine Needles Distress Oxide ink to the bottom edge, and adhered it to the box card.

I added all of the images with liquid adhesive and stamped the sentiment to the front strip to complete my project.

Joy Clair Designs Making Memories | Lil Patch of Crafty Friends | Copic Coloring

Joy Clair Designs Making Memories

Hi crafty friends! It’s the first Sunday of the month, and I’m sharing my project for the current Lil Patch of Crafty Friends Challenge Blog. We are celebrating Christmas in July, sponsored by Joy Clair Designs.

All of the designers are using Making Memories Digital stamp for their project. In this set, there are three digital images and five sentiments. I picked the image of the adorable bear in a sweater, printed it, and colored the image with my Copic Markers.

Copic Marker Combination

Bear: B29, B27, B25, B23, B21
Sweater: R89, R39, R27, R24
Scarf: B05, BG01, BG00, BG000

Joy Clair Designs Making Memories

To create the background, first I die-cut a piece of smooth cardstock into an A2-sized panel. Next, I ink blended the panel with Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide ink in the center of the panel and Salty Ocean Distress Oxide ink at the outer edges. Next, I added the sparkle using a flurry stencil and Stickles Glitter Gel in Moon Dust.

I had to be a little creative with the sentiment by printing the digital sentiment onto black cardstock using my laser printer then I simply added white foiling. I honestly was not sure if it would work, but I had to try, and VOILA!

Joy Clair Designs Making Memories

Once the panel was dry, I adhered the image and the sentiment using foam adhesive to the front of my panel to complete my card.

Join us for the Christmas in July celebration on the Lil Patch of Crafty Friends and enter our challenge for a chance to win a generous prize from our sponsor.

Your Next Stamp Spread Your Wings | Ink Blending on Colored Cardstock | Copic Coloring

Your Next Stamp Spread Your Wings

Hi crafty friends! I hope your weekend is off to a great start in your part of the world. Here is Florida, it’s hot and rainy at the moment. I’m hopeful that the weekend weather will get better and I can get into the pool over this long weekend.

I have a fun birthday card to share with you featuring Your Next Stamps’ Spread Your Wings. I stamped and colored the butterfly images with my Copic Markers in the following combinations.

Copic Marker Combination

Teal Butterfly: BG49, BG45, BG32
Pink Butterfly: RV69, RV55, RV63, RV000
Yellow Butterfly: Y17, Y15, Y11
Butterfly Body: W7, W5, W3, W1

Your Next Stamp Spread Your Wings

Years ago, I learned a shortcut to create quick and easy backgrounds and I still use this technique in my cardmaking today. I simply use a colored panel of cardstock and ink blend to add depth and interest in my backgrounds.

For this card, I die cut a piece of pink cardstock and ink blended a cloud stencil using Kitsch Flamingo Distress Oxide ink. Next, I added splatters with diluted white acrylic paint and left the panel to dry.

Once the panel was dry, I used a stitched rectangle die to trim the panel, stamped the sentiment, and added my butterflies with foam adhesive. And that’s it.

Making beautiful handmade cards does not have to be time-consuming, it can be stunning and quick at the same time.
