MFT Stamps Christmas Cheer | Christmas Scene Card | Copic Coloring

Hi crafty friends! I hope you’re doing well and enjoying your weekend. One of the highlights of the Christmas Season is sending and receiving Christmas cards. As a card maker, I absolutely love to create Christmas cards to send out to my family and friends.

MFT Stamps Christmas Cheer

Today, I’m sharing a card I created using MFT Stamps’ Christmas Cheer stamp set. I love any stamp set that features critters, but this one is especially adorable. I started by creating the masks for my stamped images and stamping the images in the front first, followed by the background.

Copic Marker Combination

Arctic Fox: E41, E50, W00, R30
Bunny: E44, E43, E42, E41, Blender
Tree: G17, G02, G00, G000
Red: R39, R29, R24
Trees in the back: BG72, G17, G02
Snow: G02, G00, G000, G0000

MFT Stamps Christmas Cheer

When I create a one-layer card, I usually ink blend the background before coloring. I do this just in case I don’t like the background, or some bleed-through occurs, and it won’t ruin the colored images. For this background, I used Cracked Pistachio, Evergreen Bough Distress Oxide inks on the card front, and Pine Needles Distress Oxide ink just on the edges of the card. I added white splatters for my snowy scene. Then I colored the images.

To finish the card, I heat embossed and sentiment and added highlights with my white gel pen. I really hope you enjoy this card and as always, thank you so much for stopping by; until next time….sprinkle a little creativity on your day!

Sunny Studio Stamps Farm Fresh | Fall Scene Card | Copic Coloring

Hi crafty friends, and happy Friday! There’s nothing like ending a long week and enjoying the weekend with family and friends. I’m in the fall mindset and have been enjoying creating fall-inspired projects.

Sunny Studio Stamps Farm Fresh

For this card, I began by stamping and coloring several images from Farm Fresh and Missing Ewe stamp sets, then used the coordinating dies to die-cut the images.

Copic Marker Combination

Tree: YG67, YG17, YG13, YG01
Windmill: C3, Pencil for shading
Fence: E33, Pencil for shading

Sunny Studio Stamps Farm Fresh

Lately, I’ve been creating larger cards, and this was a perfect opportunity to create a 5 x 7 card for my farm scene. For the background, I ink-blended two hillsides die cuts, one straight die-cut with green Distress Oxide inks, and the sky using blue Distress Oxide ink.

Using a sentiment from an older MFT Stamps stamp set, I heat embossed it onto the background using black embossing powder. And finally, I adhered my images onto the card front using liquid adhesive or glue dots.

I really hope you enjoy this card and as always, thank you so much for stopping by; until next time….sprinkle a little creativity on your day!

Lawn Fawn Winter Fox | Thanks so Much | Copic Coloring

Hi crafty friends! Today I’m sharing a fall-inspired card featuring an older stamp by Lawn Fawn. Autumn is my favorite part of the year. But living in Florida limits the beautiful views of foliage changing as some other parts of the country experience. The best part of Florida Fall is enjoying the 80-degree weather!

Lawn Fawn Winter Fox Magic Iris Fall Leaves Add-on

For this card, I wanted to incorporate some of the beautiful colors of the Fall Season. I began by stamping the image and coloring with My Copic Markers.

Copic Marker Combination

Fox: YR18, YR16, YR12, E50, E51
Coffee: E35, E33, Dot texture E37
Teal: BG05, BG02, BG01, BG000

Next, I created the background by embossing a piece of Paper Bag panel using the Woodgrain Embossing folder by Sunny Studio and inking the edges with Walnut Stain Distress Ink.

Using the Magic Iris Fall Leaves add-on, I die-cut the frame and inked it with Wild Honey Distress Ink.

And finally, I adhered the elements onto a teal mat, added the sentiment, and finished the card by adding a few highlights with my white gel pen.

I hope you enjoyed this card. Thank you so much for stopping by; until next time….sprinkle a little creativity on your day!

MFT Stamps Fall Friends and Harvest Mouse | Grateful Fall Themed Handmade card | Copic Coloring

Hi crafty friends, I hope you are having a great week and looking forward to the weekend! I know I sure am. It has been a few long and exhausting weeks. As a Floridian, I prepared for Hurricane Ian to make land-fall near my home. Thankfully, my area was spared, but my heart breaks for the neighbors south of me who lost so much. It’s very conflicting to feel thankful and devasted at the same time. However, it is heartwarming to see our communities come together to help those most affected by this destructive storm.

MFT Stamps Harvest Mouse and Fall Friends

One way I cope with stress is to take time and color. Lately, I’ve been spending a little extra time coloring some of my older stamp sets. I chose two stamps from MFT Stamps to create a fall-inspired grateful card.

I stamped and colored several images from MFT Stamps’ BB Harvest Mouse and Fall Friends (discontinued) with my Copic Markers.

Copic Color Combinations

Mouse: W5, W3, W1, W0
Shirt: YR23, Y15, Y13
Pants: B29, B24
Scarecrow: YR12, YR21, YR31
Shirt: YG17, YG23, YG21
Pants: B29, B24, B23
Hat: E29, E25, E23
Barrel: E23, E21
Apples: R27, R24, R22
Pumpkins: YR18, YR04, Y38, E23
Red Leaf: R39, R29, R17, R14
Green Leaf: EYG17, YG25, YG23, YG21

MFT Stamps Harvest Mouse and Fall Friends

For the background, I quickly water-colored a slimline die-cut with yellow and orange watercolors. Then, with green watercolor, I painted a small panel for the grass.

I attached the images with foam adhesive or glue dots, stamped the large sentiment, and heat embossed with black embossing powder.

I hope you enjoyed my card today, as always, thank you so much for stopping by; until next time….sprinkle a little creativity on your day!
