Scrapping For Less | March FOTM Card Kit Featuring 4 cards 1 Kit

Hello everyone,

Today I’m sharing the four cards I created using the March Flavor of the Month Card Kit by Scrapping for Less following the March Sketch Sheet provided by Scrapping for Less.

Scrapping for Less March FOTM Card Kit

The first card features the stamp and papers from collection # 4 and I am using sketch #1 for the layout. To start, I stamped the adorable Ice Cream Chicks by Stamping Bella onto a piece of Copic friendly cardstock. I learned how to color on Neenah Solar White 80 lb. and that is the paper I always use for Copic coloring.

Scrapping For Less March FOTM Card Kit All about Ice Cream featuring Stamping Bella Chicks with Sprinkle on Top Stamp.

All of the papers for this card are from the Happy Hooray Collection by Pebbles except for the green panel which is from My Favorite Things.

For the second card, I am using the stamp and papers from collection #1 and sketch #2. I stamped the ice cream from Lawn Fawn Treat Yourself Stamp onto a piece of Copic friendly cardstock and colored my image using Copic Markers. I did a little masking so that my spoon is inside the ice cream container.

Of all the sketches for this card kit, this one gave me the most trouble. I’ve never utilized tags on a card before and I was second guessing myself until almost the end when it started coming together. And although this is not a typical card for my style or the color combinations but I really love the end result.

For the third card, I am using the Ice Cream Buttons by Buttons Galore from collection #2. First, I cut the tabs off with my wire snips so that I could adhere the buttons flat with adhesive. Then, following sketch #3, I added the paper layers with liquid glue or with fun foam for some dimension.

This card was definitely my most favorite card design and I think the buttons were a perfect addition for this card layout.
For my final card, I am using collection #3 featuring Ice Cream Marci by La La Land and papers from the Beach Babe Collection by Pink and Main. This very bright and cheery patterned paper collection has become one of my favorites. I will definitely be order the entire paper pad.

After stamping and coloring the image using my Copic Markers, I used a stitched oval die to cut out the main focal point image. Putting this card together I followed sketch # and finished it off with a sentiment from the Year 1 Sentiment Stamp by Scrapping For Less.
