I’m so excited to be a guest designer for this month’s kit for Scrapping For Less. Today, I’m sharing the four cards I made using the Flavor of the Month May Card Kit. This month’s kit is all about Myths and Legends.
I’ve been a long-time fan of the Scrapping For Less Card Kits because the value of their kits far supersedes their price and you always get enough of a variety within each collection but still within the theme.

Happy Crafting! P.S. for some fun facts on the elements and origins of the myths and legends of this month’s kit head to the Scrapping for Less blog for some little tidbits about our legendary elements.
Card 1 – Collection One – Sketch 1
For the first card, I colored the adorable Nessie from Kindred Stamps with Copic markers and added the image to the patterned paper with waves. The only thing left to do to complete this card was to add the sentiment and a few sequences from the collection.
Copic Color Combination: Nessie: BG99, G94, YG63, G21, G40, N5, N3
Card 2 – Collection Two – Sketch 3
I simply adore this image of the Pegasus by Sunny Studio Stamps. I used the patterned paper from this collection and followed sketch three to create the background. After Copic coloring the image, I added it to a stenciled sky background to complete this card.
Copic Color Combination: Pegasus Hair: R85, R83, R81, BV02, BV00, BG13, BG11 Pegasus Body: N5, N3, N1, N0 and Blender
Card 3 – Collection Three – Sketch 2
The feel of this collection reminded me of garden fairies and I colored the images of the two fairies to reflect the softness of the patterned paper. Next, I chose several pieces of patterned paper from this collection and added a little bit of the Sour Apple cardstock for contrast.
Copic Color Combination – Skin: E13, E11, E21, E00, E000, R20 Hair: (Blonde) E57, E43, E53, E50 (Brunette) E29, E25, E23, E21
Dress: R85, R83, R81 Wings: YG03, G40
Card 4 – Collection Four – Sketch 4
And finally, for the last card which happens to be my favorite from the kit, I colored the adorable gnomes with Copic markers to reflect the bold patterned paper. I added a piece of vellum to the background to soften the brightness so that my little gnomes are still at the center of the card.
Copic Color Combination – Skin: E13, E11, E21, E00, R20 Hair: E29, E25, E23, E21 Her dress: Y19, Y13, Y11 Flower: Y19, Y13, C3, C1
His Hat: BV17, BV11, BV000 Beard: C3, C1, C0, Blender
