Newton’s Nook Designs Fall-ing for you and Wagon of Wishes~Fall Inspired~Copic Colored~Challenge entry

Hey everyone,

My kids and I have this little thing between us where every Friday afternoon (after I pick them up from school), we dance to “Hands up for the Weekend” by Eden xo and today is definitely a day to dance it up.

For my end of the week project, I made a fall inspired card using Newton’s Nook Designs stamps and am adding this card into the Newton’s Nook Inky Paws Challenge # 57.

To start, I stamped the pumpkins from Fall-ing for you and Newton in his wagon from Wagon of Wishes onto some Spectrum Noir Ultra smooth cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Dye ink.  I Copic colored the images and fussy cut them out.

Colors I used:
Pumpkins: YR65, YR68 and YR09
Wagon: R24, R27, R29 and R39
Wheels/handle: C5, C7 and C9
Newton: E55, E57 and E59

Next, I took a piece of Bristol Smooth cardstock and ink blended the background using my favorite combination for the sky and the grass. I also die cut the panel using Gina Marie Designs’ stitched scalloped rectangle die for a more polished look.

To put this card together, I cut a piece of bright orange cardstock and adhered it to an A2 sized card base, next I added a piece of patterned paper and added my panel with the scene background using fun foam for added dimension. I then arranged my image components and added a sentiment from Fall-ing for you stamp set to complete my card.

I really like the end result of this card and I especially love the contrast between the colors of the patterned paper and the scene panel. As always thanks for stopping by, until next time….sprinkle a little creativity on your day!
