MFT Stamps Hog Heaven | Copic Coloring

MFT Stamps Hog Heaven

Hey crafty friends! I’m super excited to see this stamp set recently released from the MFT Stamps’ vault. I missed this stamp set the first time it was released but I made sure not to miss it this time. Are these not the cutest little hogs?

To begin my card, I stamped the images onto smooth white cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black dye ink. I colored all of the images with Copic Markers using the color combinations listed below.

Copic Marker Combination

Pigs: RV02, RV10, RV000, RV0000
Heart: RV09, RV55, RV52, RV00
Fence: E23, E57, E79, E21, E23
Grass: YG01, YG05, YG17
Flowers: RV09, RV52, RV10, N3, YG01, YG05, YG17
Flower Pot: E21, E23, E57, E79

For the background, I first ink blended with Distress Oxide ink in Spun Sugar then stenciled the stars using Kitsch Flamingo Distress Oxide Ink. I also created some texture with white acrylic paint and pink shimmer spray.

Next, I trimmed the background panel using a stitched rectangle die and adhered the panel to a green polka dot patterned paper.  And finally, I stamped the sentiment and adhered the images using either glue dots or liquid adhesive.
