Good morning crafty friends, I have a fun owl card to share with you, featuring Heffy Doodle’s Hootiful stamp and
Stargazer Backdrop die to create a mini night-time scene.
To start, I stamped all of the image from the stamp set onto a piece of Neenah Solar White 80lb cardstock with
Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I’ll often stamp out more images then I need for a card and save them for another time.
I used Copic markers to color in all of the images and ScanNCut to cut them out.

Beak and feet: E35, Y11
Tree: E35, E49
Leaves: YG00, YG01, YG05, YG09
Tree Stump: E49, E47, E44, E43, E41
Moon: YR21, YR31, Y11
I created the background by ink blending Distress Oxide inks in Chipped Sapphire, Blueprint Sketch and Salty Ocean
onto a piece of Bristol Smooth cardstock. I did add a little Black Soot Distress Oxide ink at the top to mimic a darker night-time sky.
Next, I die cut the ink blended panel using Heffy Doodle’s Stargazer backdrop securing the stars in place with a little scotch tape.
I also die cut clouds with Heffy Doodle’s swirly clouds die and an old grass border die from my stash.
To finish this card, I adhered all of the elements using liquid adhesive or foam tape. Then I stamped the sentiment using clear
embossing ink and set it with white embossing powder. As a final touch, I added Nuvo Glitter Drops in White Blizzard over the stars.
