Hey crafty friends! I have one last Valentine’s Day-inspired card to share with you, this time featuring the most adorable skunks around. For this card, I used the Scent with Love stamp set by Lawn Fawn.
I started the card by stamping and coloring all images with Copic Markers, then used my ScanNCut to cut them out.
Copic Color Combinations
Skunks: N9, N7, N5, N3
White: W1, Dot texture: W3, W5
Red: R39, R27, R24, R22
Green: YG17, YG03, YG00
Envelope: E33, E53, E50
Working on the background, I ink blended a piece of smooth cardstock with Antique Linen Distress Oxide ink and added splatters of Distressed Spray in Walnut Stain for texture. Next, I used the Polka Heart Backdrop in Portrait die to die-cut the panel.
To finish this card, I adhered the die-cut panel over a piece of red cardstock. I added a heart element die-cut from black cardstock and vellum and added the images with foam adhesive.
This card is inspired by the current Lawnfawnatics.com challenge – Clean and Simple. It’s as close to a clean and simple card as I get to because it’s not my typical card-making style. But here is to trying something new.
This card is entered in the following challenges
Polkadoodles Craft Challenge | Colour Crazy Craft Challenge | Allsorts Challenge Blog | A Gem of a Craft Challenge | Word Art Wednesday | Cut it Up Challenge | Crafty Gals Corner | Digi Doodle Studios |
