Lawn Fawn Penguin Party

Hey crafty friends! It’s hard to believe that in a few short weeks we will celebrate Valentine’s Day. With the holiday right around the corner, I have a fun Valentine’s Day-inspired card to share with you. This card features the adorable penguins from Penguin Party by Lawn Fawn.

I stamped and colored all of the images with Copic Markers and used the coordinating dies to die cut the images out.

Copic Color Combinations

Penguins: N9, N7, N5, N3, N1
Beak and Feet: Y38, Y18
Igloo: B02, B01, B00, B000
Brown: E29, E27, E25, E23, E21
Hearts: R39, R27, R24

Next, I ink blended a piece of smooth cardstock with Kitsch Flamingo and Picked Raspberry Distress Oxide ink. Then, I splattered the panel with diluted white acrylic paint and pink Distress spray for interest.

I die-cut a frame using the Peekaboo Backdrop from white cardstock and layered it on top of the ink blended panel with foam adhesive. To finish the card, I adhered the images with foam adhesive and added the hearts with glue dots.

I love combining pink and red especially for Valentine’s Day. As always thank you so much for stopping by, until next time….sprinkle a little creativity on your day!
