Light-up Halloween Card | Whimsy Stamps Boo Die Set

Hi crafty friends, I have a fun light-up Halloween card to share with you featuring the newly released Boo Die Set from Whimsy Stamps.

Whimsy Stamps Boo Die Set

As soon as I saw the ghosts, I knew I wanted to create a light-up card. Although this was my first ever light-up card, it was super easy to add the mechanism and create this spooky scene Halloween card.

I started by ink blending a panel using Seedless Preserve, Dusty Concord, and Chipped Sapphire Distress Oxide inks. Next, I added black and white paint splatters to the panel using diluted acrylic paint.

And it was time to put the light mechanism in the back of the panel and arrange the scene using the die-cut ghosts, moon, and the word die. I used an EZ Light mechanisim by Pearblossom Press.

I have a video tutorial of this card where I share how I created this card and added the mechanism.  Watch the video below or follow the link to the Whimsy Stamps Channel!

As always, thank you so much for stopping by, until next time….sprinkle a little creativity on your day!

Below you will find links to the supplies used to create this card. When possible, I use affiliate links to link products I use or personally believe in. This means that if you make a purchase through the links I share, I will earn a small commission at no additional cost to you! This helps me to run this blog and my YouTube channel to share the cards I make. Thank you so much for your support!
