Newton’s Nook Designs Birdbath Newton | Stenciled Background | Copic Coloring

Good morning crafty friends, I made a fun scene card to share with you today featuring Newton’s Nook Designs’ sweet little Newton
playing in the birdbath.

To begin my card, I stamped all of the images onto a piece of Neenah Solar White 80lb cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink,
colored them in with Copic markers and used my ScanNCut to cut the images out.

For the background, I first ink blended an A2 sized panel with Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide ink then I added the Sky Stencil.
Using a palette knife I applied a matte metallic texture paste. As a result, it created a ton of contrast in the background.

I made a grassy hill panel by die-cutting a panel and ink blending it with Mowed Lawn and Twisted Citron Distress Oxide ink
then I splattered the panel with water and blotted it dry with a clean paper towel.

To finish, I adhered the background panel to a white card base and also added all of the images with foam squares for some added dimension.

I hope you enjoyed this card and as always thank you so much for stopping by, until next time….sprinkle a little creativity on your day!
