Hello everyone,

I am so excited to be taking part in a video hop this week and share this super sweet llama friendship card I made.

SugarPea Llama Just Say

All of the participants in this hop made friendship theme projects to celebrate friendships and introduce you to other talented crafters. There are prizes along the way so be sure to follow along for your chance to win.

My card features a fun little scene I made using Gansai Tambi Watercolors to paint the sky with one shade of blue and paint the grass with a bright shade of green onto a watercolor panel.

I personally like to allow my watercolor panels to air dry and left this one to completely dry before I stamped and heat embossed the sentiment with Versafine Onyx black ink.

For this project I wanted the llamas to face each other and to achieve that I needed to mirror stamp one of the images of the llama.

Mirror stamping is a fun technique of stamping the original image onto a solid stamp then adding the cardstock on top thus stamping a mirror image of the original.

Both of the llamas were stamped onto Bristol smooth cardstock and colored in with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers.

Body/face: No. 94 Gray Brown, 097 Pale Gray, 900 Warm Gray, 901 Gray Tint
Nose/Cheeks: No.200 Almond Pink
Ears: No. 230 Pale Rose
Hoofs: No. 902 Natural Gray
Rugs: No. 207 Dark Pink, 036 Light Blue, 050 Yellow

I also added clouds die cut with Heffy Doodle’s Swirly Cloud from watercolor cardstock and added a light blue shade for some depth.
